2025 Philadelphia Eagles - Za'Darius Smith: Will he be a Ndamukong Suh-type addition, or Ryan Kerrigan? (83 Viewers)

Next 4 games

@KC less Rice and Worthy

Home v Rams - Staffford is hurting already and I honestly have zero clue the last time the Rams beat the Eagles. Pretty sure McVay has never

@Tampa - bugaboo here we never beat them and AJ Brown is never available in these games

Home v Broncos - Vic Fangio vs Sean Payton - Sean Payton wanted Vic to stay in Denver as DC and we’ll, he didn’t

This will be a fun post to come back to bc the Eagles right now are favored in every single one of these games.
That post was not worth recognizing nor the time spent to respond to it.

I’m bored.

Thinking more about the game last night - game was a 4 point game and all but man we had SO MANY close calls that just didn’t go our way

Nolan Smith was buzzing around Dak maybe .25 seconds from a strip sack

Dropped Q INT

Dropped Byron Young INT off a deflection

A few other passes that got batted around like a volleyball that was just not intercepted

Sure we got the Miles fumble

At least half the penalties seemed on the edge/questionable - Reed roughing and Nolan unsportsmanlike come to mind

I can’t think of a single “oh man/almost” moment where the Cowboys could have swung it back there direction other than Miles Sanders fumbling - which obviously was huge.

Defense had zero sacks

Field position was not good at any punt really.

W a W and all but maybe we go crazy against the Chiefs next week and start something

Xavier Worthy shoulder injury. That could change the complexion of next weeks matchup.

Let's go take down KC. Remind them who we are.
Highly doubt Worthy is going to play. KC offense looked pretty decent against an above average defense.

Was excited about having the extra rest, but forgot KC gets a mini bye too, even if they do have a long flight home.

KC Definitely going to be hungry for revenge too.

I can see it as a tough game for us, and I'd be pretty surprised if the NFL gives KC a little advantage (shocking right?) by suspending Carter.

30-27 Chiefs if Carter is out, Eagles if he plays. Either way i think it's a tight game.

It was just a good game between 2 teams that played pretty even.

That game highlighted the greatness of Hurts. All of the hype, banner raising, Carter’s ejection and the early deflation of the defense. He came out smooth and steady, not phased by any of it. He took what was given to him and didn’t allow the emotions from all of that to cause him to force anything. He kept the Eagles in the game while the shock of the Carter incident needed to wear off. Eagles fans enjoy the ride, we are in the midst of a historic run with an iconic leader that may go down in history as one of the all time greats.

7 games into their inaugural season in 1933, the Eagles record stood at 3-3-1, after an 0-3 start.

After being level for only 7 days, they would lose their next game and never get back to a .500 winning percentage over the next 92 years.

Until Thursday, when the win over Dallas brought the franchise’s record to 639-639-27.

Time to never look back. Not going below again.

The Eagles improved to .500 as a franchise with their win over the #Cowboys (639-639-27).

They haven’t had a .500 record as a franchise since 1933. Last time they were .500 as a franchise was on December 2, 1933.

The Eagles never have been over .500 in the franchise’s 93 seasons.

That’s a shocking stat

That's nothing. If the Phillies won every single game they played starting today, it would take them 7 years just to get to .500.

Let’s try something new in this thread and stop feeding obvious flame or trolling posts?

To be fare we had some stuff go in our favor with CeeDee deciding to get butter fingers

If the Eagles can hold out until October Asante Samuel JR son of former Eagle Asante Samuel could be had. Despite his size he’s perfect for the Eagles defensive scheme. Samuel is recovering from neck surgery and will have a scan in Oct to see if surgery was successful. Samuel would be a great get and would only cost $$$. Jeremy Fowler reported in June the Eagles had interest and if it wasn’t for the neck injury I think he’d have been signed already.
