Now that we have 25% of the season played (although some players have missed games with byes) it is time to evaluate how players are performing and discuss what we should expect from them moving forward.

This is how players stack up using standard 1pt/10yards rush/rec 25/passing 6pt all TD:

QB total points then points/game

Williams, Carnell TBB RB 5.6 has been terrible, lack of carries, should improve.

I think several of the lower tier Rbs can perform at a Rb 2 or 3 level moving forward. But they haven't yet so that is no sure thing.

Who do you see moving up or down? Which Rbs do you think will maintain thier production for the rest of the year?

Gore is falling out of Tier One like an asteroid.

He's probably Tier Three already.

Bell will jump to Tier Two now that he's getting the bulk of the carries in Denver.

Maroney has some nice stats, but he's not a Tier One back at this point.

:goodposting: Also, Portis is climbing to the top of that first tier like a rocket ship!

This is possibly true. Gore has lost a fumble in all 4 games he has played this year. :o He doesn't seem to be getting loose against decent defenses (yes I am calling the Chiefs decent).Shedule ahead:Raiders ChargersByeBearsVikingsLionsSeahawks

Probobly. That is if he can hold up well enough so Skeletor doesen't change his mind again.Bell gets the Ravens this week. I hope the bye helped.

I hear what your saying.. Dillon is still very much a part of the picture.. but look at his numbers man!! The guy has scored the 3rd most points of any running back while sharing a boatload of carries with Dillon. What makes you think this is going to stop?Vikings, Bears and Jags are the only teams left on the schedule that look close to the run defense Denver has. And even Denver couldn't stop Maroney from getting loose in the passing game.

When you only play a few games, one monster game can really scew the stats.Santana Moss is probably going to be the top ranked receiver now, but he has been a disapointment for three quarters of the year.I do like Maroney, but I don't consider a guy who splits carries to be a first tier fantasy guy.

I used Doug Drinens formula for trying to predict RBs for the next year based on their last year, by applying it to the first quarter of the season to see how it predicts the rest of the season. I believe Drinen states that 3-4 games of work are usually not enough to project accurately using this formula, but it was interesting anyway. This is what I basically came up with.

Top tier: LJ, LT, CP

2nd tier: SJax, Gore, Rudi, JJ, FWP, KJ, Maroney (with upside), Willis, Tiki

3rd tier: Ronnie Brown, Tatum (with upside), Edge, Chester, Deuce, Dunn
