3rd Shark Pool Mock Draft (1 Viewer)

KC so far this mock:1.03 Aaron Curry LB Wake Forest2.14 Lawrence Sidbury DE/OLB Richmond3.13 Jason Watkins OT Florida4.02 Mike Wallace WR MississippiCurry was a solid pick at the time.....8-10 year pro bowler....Sidbury is moving up fast and I think a great pick to improve a non existent pass rush....Watkins is a decent OT that is used to playing in an offense at Florida that I think will translate well to what the Chiefs plan to do this year....and Wallace in the 4th might be a steal as some project him to go in the second and he fits a need on offense (deep threat) and returner....UPDATE...at this point I have no idea what the Chiefs will really do, I could see them doing almost anything with the #3 pick....wouldn't be surprised at all to see them trade down to a team that wants to jump in front of Seattle to get Sanchez in case they think Seattle would really take him....would love to see them swap 1st rounders with someone and also get a second round pick this year....wish the Gonzo trade would have happened like it did here with a second rounder being this year instead of next....also wish that Stafford would have gone #1 in this mock as it appears he really will this year because I believe that KC will not take Curry at this point with the #3 pick....I guess I could have traded down in this mock, didn't really have time....
Great draft thus far.I have the hots for Sidbury so it's very possible that you have found your OLB anchors with Curry/Sidbury for years to come. Are the Chiefs installing a 3-4, if so, this makes your draft that much better.

the word is that they are going to the 3-4 .. that caused the rumblings that Dorsey is availible for the right offer.

So far no complaining from Packer fans over any of the picks. I went pretty standard, and didn't try to get cute with any of my picks. The only time I really felt like I missed on a player was the 4th round pick with Mitch King going right ahead of me.
:( I thought I may have reached a little. We might have focused too much on offense, but we're happy with:1.04 - Matthew Stafford, QB Georgia2.39 - Percy Harvin, WR Florida3.72 - Andy Levitre, OT/G, Oregon State4.107 - Mitch King, DT/DE, Iowa:shrug: I'd be happy.

If San Diego or Jacksonville comes up, take the picks. I won't be around much, if at all until Monday.

If you haven't traded Dorsey, we'd offer Mitch King + something. Perferably a player.
LMAO ... I was talking about real life .. and I am not the Gm for the Cheifs.i was referring to this thread ...

Dorsey

Miami Dolphins

Vontae Davis, CB Illinois

Hakeem Nicks, WR North Carolina

Max Unger, C Oregon

Marcus Freeman, LB Ohio State

David Veikune, DE/OLB Hawaii

If this happened tomorrow I would think the Dolphins would be happy with this. All fill needs and were pretty good values where they were taken. If we would have made it to the next round I would have probably looked at NT or CB again.

The Texans will select with pick 4.12

Woodny Turenne CB, Louisville

No write up available at this time. Later - maybe.

Everyone down here in Houston wishes everyone an enjoyable draft experience on Saturday & Sunday. And may your favorite team get every stud they target - unless the Texans have them in the top 10 on the Texans' Draft Board!
