Me not understanding a joke aside (sorry to clutter a good thread with that), what's the thinking for Cleveland fans about the QB situation?

i’m thinking once Watson’s shoulder is healed up he’ll be starting again.

PJ Walker is a JAG and DTR isn’t ready yet.

Seems like that has to be it, right? Walker was good enough but he doesn't seem like any answer.

No question Watson is the guy when he's ready. I have no idea when that will be, I've heard everything from next week to a couple more weeks out but be sure, when he's ready, he is the guy. Yesterday's win was a product of a coach catering a game plan to his QB rather than forcing his QB to run a game plan. I've been critical of Stefanski int he past but give him credit for yesterday, his gameplan was about as good as it could get given what he had to work with.

Purdy did his job pretty well on that last drive to put them in position to win. Kicker gotta make that kick

Anyone taking pot shots today
Kid is still like 14-1 as a starter
Nobody is expecting him to be a seasoned Vet yet
It will be interesting to see how he responds next week

After losing two of his best weapons, and struggling against an elite defense all day, he still put his team in a position to win the game at the end. Purdy will be fine.

So Purdy's allowed to have a bad game but Moody isn't?

Purdy was the last overall pick in the draft, has been amazing, and despite having his worst game as a pro he still drove them into a position to win the game at the end.

Moody was one of the highest drafted kickers of the last 50 years and missed a kick that will usually be made by an NFL kicker.

Purdy is potentially a franchise QB. SF can bring in a ton of guys who can kick as well as Moody has so far. Apples and oranges.
