*** 49ers vs Packers SNF game thread *** (1 Viewer)

Packers made you think for a second a big comeback could happen and then Jimmy G and Kittle along with some great play calling and coaching just rip the life out of this game quickly.

Adams looks spry enough.  I expected a barn burner.  This just seems like a beatdown where San Fran is giving GB the message that they aren't on the level.

Yeah maybe. Nothing wrong with where he put the ball really, it was the safe place to put it. Just didnt give the receiver enough space to be in bounds, so yeah likely a tick too late.
Right...very few can make their body go dead at that speed to get feet down.

Deebo owners fortunate he scored tonight, targets dropped thru the floor plus the game was never really in doubt.

Kittle back impacts his ceiling a lot. I wouldn't pencil him into your WR3 or Flex spot every week, great bye week filler the last 3 though.

Deebo is a rookie on a run first offense.

He has been great but I don't think many rookies become automatic starts.

I think Samuel has delivered on his potential so far and he keeps improving, thats all you can ask for from a rookie.

All the Pettis touters throwing shade at Samuel can take a toss though.

He was Top 25 on a lot of main FF sites, that's low end WR2 in a 12 team league, that's pretty much auto-start most weeks.

His role tonight is questionable and it's easy to overlook 2 targets with the 50/TD production which is incredible, wish other WRs could do more with their targets.

I also saw he was injured or was Questionable...I want to see the snap count but it feels like he hasn't even been on the field 2nd half.

I think you're right.

SF is killing them now and thats when we saw more blockers and Pettis.

There are about 30 possible WR 3 any given week after considering match ups. Deebo being top 25 this week is partly due to byes and other factors.

I literally spit out a mouthful of vodka & club when Al Michaels said, "It's going to be a rough week for that group" when NBC showed the Turkey's at the processing plant

Its adorable they have Rodgers and Adams on the sideline. 60 minutes, not 55. As if we needed another reason to mark down Rodgers for his fantasy value. He isnt a finisher.

Watching the 2nd half of a 3rd preseason game rest of the way.

Its 37-8...the season isn't over.  Again, they don't care about a fantasy team.  Its the right play to pull them.

Well that snowballed out of control starting with that first 2 yard drive for a T.D. and continuing right on through.  The Packers have some talent, but they seem to posses low football I.Q.  Every game they have a major defensive break down after making some good to even great plays.  Their communication on the backend is atrocious.  They pick horrible times to provide first downs by penalties.  Their offensive line is over-rated.

Kudos to the 49ers.  Impressive defense.  Even when the Packers completed something they were always coming forward to make a tackle.  That was in sharp contrast to the Packers who are always falling back to gather themselves to make a tackle on a completed pass.  Aggression and assertiveness built on self-confidence vs. uncertainty.  With a few breaks the Packers may have only lost that game by 17 to 21 points, so that is pretty bad.

The Packers are just Kittle and Bosa away from a Championship.  That is a long way right now.  O.K., maybe also a defensive coordinator who can get the back end organized and disciplined.

Of course lots of teams are only two transcendent players away.

Maybe they are just a bicoastal earthquake away.  If the 49ers and the Seahawks were wiped out and the Patriots and the Ravens too, maybe then.  Of course we might need that bicoastal quake to generate a tsunami that washed away the Saints as well.

To be clear I am not really wishing disaster on any of the fine folks in those regions, just noting that there are at least 5 teams better than the Packers right now and I am sure the Vikings would like to argue 6.

And the majority of fans who spend money in the NFL on Sunday Ticket dont care about the Packers, they care about fantasy points.

They "dont care about your fantasy team" is what someone says when they dont like the truth and have no argument about what was just said.

Rodgers rather sit on the bench then come in and say we are not going out like this. Probably thinking about his next endorsement. Again, goes to my point, Rodgers isnt a gamer. I know you think so because you are a Packers fan, but 2 TDs in 3 weeks, majority of football and fantasy fans dont care about your Packers or Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers cares more about endorsements then studying how to play football on the west coast. It seems like hot takes, but you cant dispute it, you just let the fandom overtake the obvious. No NFL team fears Rodgers, I can argue they want to play him.You see 3rd down pct last night? Wow. Is there a QB who is worse?

Their win/loss is sketchy. They barely beat the very bad lions and needed the Refs help to do it.
