Alex performs much better from the shotgun. He was flawless on the end of 1st half drive. He wasn't bad under center by any stretch today, but the difference was very noticeable.The move from Shaun to Alex was definitely the right move. Gives them the option to open it up a little and he's got some nice weapons in the passing game. I was pretty impressed (poise & arm strength) from what I saw from Alex today given he's played little in the past 2 or 3 years.I think he's got the next 7-8 games to audition for being the QB of the future.---------------------------------No idea how many they'll win this year, but Niners/Cardinals will likely be fighting for that NFC West til the final week. IMO

I think the Lions have a better chance of winning 8 games than the 49ers winning 13 games.

That bet is probably a push 99% of the time, but the 49ers are definitely the +EV play.

As you said it's almost always a push, but I continue to believe the Lions had a better shot at 8 wins than the 49ers 13 wins. At least my end of the bet is still alive lol I am on the edge of my seat to see if the Lions will make it to 8.
