5 players who will win your Fantasy Championship Game Week 16 (1 Viewer)

Cecil Shorts - Jax will be playing behind all day and Shorts has the element of surprise advantage having never faced NE before.

Tony Scheffler - Has come up short with lofty expectations the last few weeks but the week you forget about him is usually the week they blow up. Post hype goodness. Should be a high scoring game vs. ATL. I'm considering starting him over Pitta who could be bottled up vs. the Giants, especially if Torrey Smith is a no-go this week.

David Wilson - Have a short memory when it comes to fantasy. Don't let last week fool you. If Bradshaw is out, cash this lottery ticket.

Mike Goodson - This is my shocker special. Going up against his former team, I expect Goodson to get some good burn this week and outproducing McFadden. He might be the only one motivated on that Raiders team.

Connor Barth - Again, have a short memory. Last week was last week.

If any players will my fantasy championship, the players already on my team will it, because the waiver wire should have already been picked over weeks ago by other owners trying to will it.

Call me stupid, but I'm guessing if you have to start any of these guys (with the possible exception of Shorts) in your SB you're either in a 16+ teamer or you're schizophrenic and only believe you're in the SB.

As a DMac owner, this has been on my mind since I saw Goodson's 44 yard run last week. "nothing could be finer than to stick it to Carolina"

I'm facing the Cecil Shorts/David Wilson owner in my league.Of course he also has Calvin Johnson and Andre Johnson.

D'Angelo Williams

Put up RB1 #'s last week. I think he puts up no less than Top 15 #'s this one vs. Oakland.

If you play Week 17, he's got a nice match vs. New Orleans too.

---------

Others:

Tony Romo

Knowshon Moreno

Jason Witten

Packers D

I think Jimmy Graham's bound for a big game going against those Boys LB, but kept it to 5

I play in a 14 teamer, the wire is dry lol. In my experience your studs who have gotten you to this point, many end up disappointing the last two weeks of the season. I've seen it many times. You have to have balls to play these guys over studs but it could be the difference. Anomalies and head scratching are rampant this time of year, common sense does not exist sometimes. I think the key is balancing past performance with a little unknown upside. Play to win!

If Goodson plays like he did when he was in Carolina any rushing yards will be negated by his fumbles.

The Chachinator will play RG3 AJ green and Arian foster. But the Chachinator thanks you for the advice.

Gates- with Cromartie on DX and Flyod out = Gates the go to guy in the Chargers offense. He may have been a let down most of the year but could be the Gates of old when it matters most

H. Miller- Big Ben is going to Heath early and often all game + a TD to push him for the Pro Bowl

Garcon- RGIII to Garcon will be :moneybag: vs the Eagles defense

Injury bonus plays

Gronko- smoke em if you got em! If he plays I think they will use him, I can see the Hoodie going to him all game long. Either the arm is healed or not and Gronko is a major difference maker if he suits up

Wilson- If Bradshaw is out don't be scared of by last week, the G men will not be blown out early and ditch the run game

I'm up nights trying to choose between DWill and Ballard as my RB2 (with Lynch). My head says Ballard but my gut says DWill.

Cecil Shorts is the real deal. You can make fun of him being on our championship team all you want but he has gotten the job done when he is in the lineup

You're looking at DWill and Ballard as RB2 but think that it is crazy to start David Wilson with no Bradshaw?

DeAngelo Williams-39 rushes over last 2 games, catching a few passes, faces one of easiest defenses in league plus vs a west coast team with nothing to play for at home

Pierre Garcon-most targets in league over past month according to Berry, RG3 is back

DeMarco Murray-looks better and better each week, soft defense, Cowboys lean on him for 25 touches and a TD

Eric Decker-8 rec each of last two weeks

Mike Wallace-timing is back with Ben, Steelers won't be able to run very well vs Bengals and has over 200 yards total last 2 weeks

Damm. I was hoping you would say:

RGIII

APD

Lynch

AJ Green

Marshall

Because unless these guys win me the SB then I'm, screwed as I havent been able to make any waivers or trades for 3 weeks.

BTW, none of the guys on that list are in the SB in my league

Works for me.:16and0:

Really liking Deangelo this week as well, likely starting him over McFadden. In fact if you think about the game between Carolina and Oakland, who is more likely to have the lead and be running the ball??

I'm in one superbowl and I am sticking with who got me here. Stretching for matchup plays in IMO the best way to lose.

Yeah man, injuries are not a part of this game at all
What's this. What are you talking about?

True, but what I love about superbowl week is how you can make drastic changes to your team without having to worry about future weeks. This week I cut Ahmad Bradshaw and picked up 3 new receivers off waivers, Miles Austin, Amendola and Jordy Nelson (in case he starts).

I like him this week too. I've got to sit Bradshaw and debating between Ballard and DWill as my RB2. DWill has been $$ over the past 2 weeks. The only thing that concerns me is his chances at a TD. He's scored the past 2 weeks but both TD's were on swing or screen passes where he took it in from 45+ yards out. The GL still belongs to Cam and Tolbert. Thinking Ballard has a better shot at a TD.

DWill owners might want to temper their excitement. Jonathan Stewart practiced today and Panthers beat writers expect him to play barring a setback.
