8-8 across the board. (1 Viewer)

Theoretically it would be possible for every team in the league to finish 8 - 8. Do you think that in this era of football we will ever see parity? It seems every year we see a team go 15 - 1, 13 - 3. Complete dominance. It seems in the NFL where the competition is so stiff no one team would be able to coast to victories.

My question is do you ever think we will see a year where most teams are 10 - 6 ; 6 - 10? Parity.

EDIT: Last years Arizona Cardinals. They were 8 - 8 one game worse than the Super Champion: New York Giants. There was a controversial call during their head-to-head game that saw Victor Cruz clearly 'give himself up' which resulted in a fumble. However the call was unreviewable and we were given a loss.

The Cardinals would have finished 9 - 7.

The Giants would have finished 8 - 8.

Parity.

Obviously just due to the insane odds against it, no year will ever finish with all teams at 8-8 even if all teams were exactly the same talent. I think the league is somewhat moving towards that middle ground though. I could see in a few years almost every team being between 6 and 10 wins though, but there will always be those crappy teams hit with injuries and those great teams.

Lol, given up = fumble...

This is a not so thinly veiled butthurt cardinals thread.

Its black and white in the rules. Play was dead.

Since it is possible then it is probably inevitable.

But ...

... then

... again ...

....so

is...

... every

team ...

... ending with records of ....

0-0- 16 TIES!!!!!
