I haven't heard anything new on Bethea's injury.
Looked like it could've been a shoulder injury (stinger, separation) but it was hard to tell. Know more tomorrow.
From Yahoo:Antoine Bethea, Ind – This Colts rookie safety has seen more time than expected in the Indy secondary because of injuries to key players, but he left Sunday night's game with what the Indianapolis Star called a "shoulder bruise."

Listed as questionable and missed the team portion of practice today. Wouldn't put too much stock in that yet -- everybody is listed as questionable -- but if he misses practice tomorrow it's time to get concerned that this is more than a shoulder contusion. We've been here before with Polian.

Interestingly, Bob Sanders did practice fully today. We'll see if he can make it two days in a row tomorrow.

Any word yet? Have to get my lineup for the weekend prior to tonights game in one league (which stinks!)

Indianapolis Colts S Bob Sanders (knee) missed practice Thursday, Nov. 30, and will be a game-time decision for Week 13. Head coach Tony Dungy is optimistic Sanders will play.

This is a VERY important game for the Colts. A win would clinch the AFC South AND clinch any potential TB over the Ravens for overall seeding. I'd expect at least one of the 2 safeties to play, and maybe both.

Bethea will probably not play, and Sanders probably will play this week according to today's Indianapolis Star.

Any news on Bethea?
Yep, sit him, he's inactive.

I gues Bethea didn't play this past week. Anybody know his status for next week?
He re-aggravated his shoulder injury in the first quarter.
Thanks for the update. I saw that he scored 0 and just assumed he didn't play. Any news how bad the injury is? Does he have a chance to start this weekend? Even if he does, it sounds like he can easily re-aggravate his shoulder.
No scientific research behind it, but I would think that DBs with shoulder injuries are big risk. Any kind of decent hit is liable to knock him out of a game. I would love to start Bethea this week, but with it being a Monday nighter the risk is too great so I will have to look elsewhere.

Last reports from the Indianapolis Star said that Sanders practiced today -- which isn't really helpful in that he could be worse tomorrow -- and is still considered a GTD. Bethea was expected to try to play again.

We may get some information in the newspapers before the early games start tomorrow but both are still big risks.

Bethea, Sanders, and Jackson were unable to practice yesterday. It could be that the Colts want them as healthy as possible for MNF, but the local beat writers are doubtful that any of the three will play.

Indy Star

Safeties Bob Sanders (knee), Marlin Jackson (shoulder) and Antoine Bethea (shoulder) did not practice Saturday. All probably will miss Monday night's game, leaving the starting duties to Matt Giordano and Dexter Reid.
