A Legitimate Alternative to FBG (1 Viewer)

I've read several threads recently where people are continuously complaining about the content we get on this site. This is the only website I've actually used exclusively for fantasy football advice. With that in mind, is there actually a legitimate alternative to FBGs--as far as accuracy and content?

I'd like to browse their competitors but none really look like they offer much more. If anything, they are considerably less valuable. Thoughts?

For what it's worth, I don't think there's anyone even remotely close to the quality of footballguys, but I think it's bad form to ask that here in public.

I've browsed the forums at sites like fantasysharks.com and it's un-browsable and the content sucks. To each their own

Yes there is.

the other year when FBG didnt put out a magazine I picked up a mag from the competition. I then subscribed to that website and have ever since. The reason I subscribe to FBG at this point is the contest and the message boards.

if you're in the super-elite upper tier and get invited to FBG Platinum service, there's a noticeable difference. GL

I think you need to separate accuracy and content. With accuracy, let's be honest, you can project/predict/analyze to your heart's content, and a good deal of it is a crapshoot/luck. Now, when it comes to content, I doubt you will come close to finding like content. For baseball, I subscribed to Rotoworld this past season, and it was just brutal (and about $10 more to boot). I'd be very curious to see someone produce another site that has the amount of content and diversity of content that this site has.

I know people complain, and it is their right, but I have to tell you, as a subscriber, I could not spend a better $26. I am busier than ever, so I lean more on the rankings than I did in the early 2000s, but I even find that when I follow the rankings, it tends to be right.

:goodposting: This place is the best $26 I could spend. I don't have near the time I used to so I rely on their rankings more than in the past. The subscriber contest (even though I can't win in Iowa :wall: ) and survivor leagues are just added bonuses. I don't find myself using the LD as much as in the past because I have gotten into more complicated leagues and the LD is still stuck in the 20th century, but overall, this place is the best money I could spend and I haven't found better.
