Aaron Rodgers stats (1 Viewer)

Portis 26

Madden Freak
He threw for 304 yards and 3 TDs despite several egregious drops.

Let's say the most outrageous drops (I'm thinking of the James Jones one in particular) are catches - he would have ended up with 400+ yards and at least 4 TDs, right?

Which would have been an even more impressive performance against a very talented D, right? Particularly given he was playing without his top TE (Finley) and also missed his top possession guy (Driver) for most of the game?

If wishes were fishes.....

How about one less turnover, and we could be talking about the Steeler victory this am?

You can always play the what if game. All that matters is what was.

Packers Victory!

I'm in full agreement with you. James Jones is just a joke sometimes. Jordy Nelson looked scared many times and just dropped perfect passes. Aaron was the only one on that offense who was calm that whole game.

If we do this for A Rod, we'll need to go back through all the other SB's and add the drops and potential yards to all QB's as well...

If 'ifs and buts' were candy and nuts, we'd all have a merry christmas.

You can't extrapolate more yards or TD's. Multiple drops of perfect passes implies that the QB played better than his efficiency metrics would otherwise indicate, but NOT his totals.

IE: His QB rating would be higher, but his yards and TD's wouldn't necessarily also be higher.
