Aaron Rodgers (1 Viewer)

Polish Hammer

I know that he is still missing some practice from the shoulder issue, but that hasn't seemed to slow him down come game time...plus he'll get a bye to rest coming up. What do we think of him going forward? Can he keep this pace up or are changes on the horizon?

His shoulder seems to be getting a little better each week. With a bye coming up next week, he should be ok for the rest of the season, barring another injury.

His schedule favors continued success. As long as Jennings is healthy, I don't know why he should stop producing.

His schedule is pretty brutal.

Bye, @ Tenn, @ Min, Chi, @NO, Car, Hou, @ Jax, @Chi

The good news is that they can't run and their defense will keep the other team in the game so he'll be slinging it all game.

I really like the guy and will stick with him till he quits producing.

Brutal? In my league those teams rank 32nd (Tenn), 25th (Min), 23rd (CHI), 19th (NO), 30th (CAR), 4th (HOU) and 8th (JAX) in QB Fantasy Points Allowed. And you didn't mention the Colts this weekend (31st). I'd say that's very favorable. 7 of 9 teams in the bottom half of the league.

That's a brutal stretch for Ryan Grant... a great stretch for Rogers.

One thing to keep in mind is the weather. Last year, Favre started out hot as well and then Grant took over once the weather started turning and the OLine improved. The OLine is definitely a question mark this year, but I think you'll see the run game improve and Rodgers numbers go down somewhat.

Hello !!!!!!!!! 32 being the worst for QBs to play against They have 3 good matchups against NO, HOU and JAX ... IND has not been tested so their 31st ranking may be an aberration

Minn is also a great matchup for Rodgers.

Favre threw 15 of his 28 TDs during the last 8 games of the season. The only regular season game that weather was a factor was week 16 in Chicago. He threw for 266 and 2 TDs at home against Oakland in December and threw for 2 TDs the last game of the year at home against Detroit(and only played in the first half).

Chicago is much better than #23 *if* they get their starting corners back. Look to the beginning of the season vs. Indy and Carolina - the Bears have two of the best corners in the league, but the dropoff when they're injured is HUGE. With the BYE week coming and the injuries to both healing, I think they will make those Chicago matchups rough. Then again, if the Pack can't run on the Bears and with guys like Jennings, I'm sure that he'll be moderate. So those are not good starts, but he'll produce moderately.

For anyone looking to gauge value I just traded McFadden, Campbell, and Kolby Smith to the LJ owner for Rodgers and Grant.
