Ketchup on burgers is fine.

People putting in on eggs are the freaks.
Agreed. Good scrambled or fried eggs don't need anything except a little salt and pepper. A HINT of cheddar cheese in scrambled eggs once in a while is not bad either, but less is definitely more.
I might not go so far as to say they need it, but I really wouldn't care to eat eggs without hot sauce.

Though, I wouldn't say I totally love eggs by themselves either. I like them, but if I'm eating them, it's always going to be along with something else where the eggs take a secondary role. I generally only eat eggs a few ways. As part of a loaded omelette or over easy on top of some sort of fried potato product (hashbrowns) then either smothered in sausage gravy or hot dog chili. Or on a burger. Over easy on top of corned beef hash too.

I've never understood how so many people have a couple of eggs and toast and call that a meal. Maybe if the eggs are fried in a cast iron skillet in bacon grease, but sadly, few seem to do that anymore.
Hey Mr. Diner-Owner, how come you haven't put your :2cents: in on the is a Hot Dog a Sandwich thread? WE NEED TO KNOW!!! ;)

I think it might be technically a sandwich, but no one really considers it that in real life, so it really doesn't matter.

Sort of like a tomato. It's not technically a vegetable, but it gets treated like one. Unless you're a botanist, there's no reason to worry about what the hell it really is.
