And what do you call your right hand?Where in that quote does it say that he practiced? I am expected to nail Scarlett Johansen tonight. Doesn't mean it's actually going to happen...

So Peterson isn't even listed?all I could find about yesterdays practice....

Defensive end Kenechi Udeze missed Wednesay’s practice for personal reasons. Safety Tank Williams (knee) also did not participate.
Six players were limited including, running back Adrian Peterson (knee), cornerback Antoine Winfield (hamstring), fullback Tony Richardson (knee), center Matt Birk (knee), linebacker Dontarrious Thomas (groin) and receiver Troy Williamson (concussion).
Until now the term “concussion” had not been applied to the head injury Williamson suffered on a third-quarter kickoff against the Giants on Sunday but it doesn’t come as a surprise to see that he does indeed have a concussion.
As for Peterson, the expectation remains that he will be ready to go Sunday against Detroit.
The Lions, meanwhile, listed only one player on their injury report. That was defensive end Ikaika Alama-Francis, who has a hamstring injury.
Nevermind, I see him on there as limited. I hate the new injury report. So Peterson isn't even listed?all I could find about yesterdays practice....

I watched three different News channels here locally last night. Each one showed different work-outs/Practices.Nevermind, I see him on there as limited. I hate the new injury report. So Peterson isn't even listed?all I could find about yesterdays practice....

I saw this re Thursday's practice:Any updates for Thursday's practice?
LinkRunning back Adrian Peterson, meanwhile, split reps with Chester Taylor and is on course to play Sunday against Detroit. Peterson officially was listed on the injury report as “limited participation” in practice.
If I was a professional athlete, I'd be the first one to say that I'm going to take it two days at a time."Right now I feel like I will be able to go out and play," said Peterson, who suffered a partially torn lateral collateral ligament in his right knee Nov. 11 at Green Bay. "I am just going to continue to take it one day at a time and see how it feels during practice and after practice and I will have to be able to make that decision this weekend."

Adrian Peterson (knee) has been upgraded to probable for Week 13.
Peterson will share carries with Chester Taylor against Detroit, and both backs can be used in fantasy leagues, though Peterson is a borderline RB1 play and Taylor would best be used as a flex. Check the AM inactives to be safe, but there was never much doubt about Peterson's status for this week.

sorry that was just rush yds/rec yds/tdsi have this sneaking suspicion this game is gonna go funky.CT: 22 carries for 65 / 2 receps for 14 / 0 TDsADP: 14 carries for 80 (one big run) / 1 recep for 8 yds / 1TDCan you tell me when the last time the Vikes ONLY ran the ball 22 times in a game? How bout:ADP-25/110/2CT-15/80/1CT - 65/14/0ADP - 45/8/1
Quite the opposite. He'll even fumble once. I hope you are intensely correct and I am vehemently wrong.Anyone else have a feeling that ADP is going to come back with a vengeance and run for 200+, proving to the world that he is indeed part divine?![]()
No. Go Lions!(OK, I'm an ADP owner. Go Adrian!)Anyone else have a feeling that ADP is going to come back with a vengeance and run for 200+, proving to the world that he is indeed part divine?![]()
heard the same thing, he sounded like they wont be giving him the ball much...maybe 10 carries...would he get the goal line carries??A Vikings beat writer (can't remember his name, sorry) was just on Vic Carucci and Dan Leberfeld's show on Sirius NFL Radio. Vic and Dan talked about the Vikings D and the development of Tarvaris and other nonsense to an ADP owner and then finally with about 15 seconds to go they asked him his thoughts on Peterson. Guy said he thinks they'll ease Peterson in slowly, and that Taylor will see the bulk of the workload. He said he thinks they'll use Peterson mainly as a decoy. Very frustrating. I need to win and score as many points as possible. What to do as a Peterson and Taylor owner?![]()
The problem is in putting too much credence into opinions from guys like that. What's his source of information - opinions don't have much value. We all have opinions too and that's the only that counts.A Vikings beat writer (can't remember his name, sorry) was just on Vic Carucci and Dan Leberfeld's show on Sirius NFL Radio. I wasn't too specific and just wanted to clarify.
Detroit homer:Trust me, Detroit D has shut down some decent backs... at home. On the road they only play 9 on D (or so it seems). Big day for the Vikings run game - whoever is back there.I am not sure I understand all this talk about how good this matchup is against Detroit. Detroit is only allowing 95 yds per game and is the #9 ranked run defense in the league. They aren't the Steelers or Vikings against the run, but they aren't the Raiders either. Detroit's offensive strength is the pass and that is Minny's weakness. Detroit will come out firing the ball down the field and Minnesota could very well end up trying to play catch up if the Minnesota pass defense can't stop the Lions. I think Peterson is a solid play, but just coming off the injury he will be limited by the number of plays he is getting the ball, and the Lions are not as bad against the run as everyone is making them out to be.I would be hesitant if it wasn't Detroit ... But the matchup is to good to pass upHere's a strategy question for my fellow AP owners:
If AP plays this week, are you 100% ocnfident to put him in your lineup? I think there's no question that AP is an explosive player. But are any of you hesitant to put him right back in your lineup? Are there concerns that he could re-injure his knee? I have two decent alternatives at RB, but I couldn't see myself benching AP if he's cleared to play.
Actually, Detroit plays about the same at home and on the road.At home Detroit has allowed three 100 yard rushers in six games. (50% of the games) (Minnesota, Tampa Bay, and Green Bay)Detroit homer:Trust me, Detroit D has shut down some decent backs... at home. On the road they only play 9 on D (or so it seems). Last week before the Giants game, Childress told Pat Kirwin that AP could have played in that game, but they were being extra cautious. Will he have another 200 yard game today? Doubtful. But he should put up quality RB2 numbers. If he comes out of the game healthy and confident in the knee, that's good enough for me.Is anyone the least bit concerned that ADP will play very little today? He didn't practiced fully in any practice this week. His ligament is "healing well" as opposed to "healed." Brad Childress certainly indulges in gamesmanship to try to throw off opposing teams. He's in my lineup because my alternatives suck, but I'm not feeling real comfortable about it.
Do you happen to have the total numbers? Using some arbitrary number and looking at the number of times over/under on it really doesn't tell us anything.
Like I said before I will be riding him to my championship. A win next week will lock up the #1 seed, and ADP has been my MVP all season long.So enough of the doubters already. This is the NFL and he wouldn't be suiting up if they didn't think he was ready to roll-especially with a more than capable backup like CT.If he's active you start him. If you bench this guy you are a serious guppie and need to find another hobby. This guy is beyond stud/must start status. Don't bother looking at the matchup, who cares about the weather, who cares who his QB is: START HIM.And if the game wasn't out of hand we could of easily been talking about a 20+/200+/3 game again. He only played 2.5 quarters! Otherwise we were looking at a 70/30 split. Even with them resting ADP it was over 50/50 in favor or Adrian, and he started despite bad pre-game reports of CT being the starter.Wishful thinking, "twice the back CT is even at %80"Nice we've went full circle with ADP. Just like the beginning of the season all over again! Might as well re-bump all of the old posts to get your answers...If he's 90-100% then there won't be a 50/50 split. I think Chili has already learned his lesson with that. ADP is twice the back CT is even at 80%.Secondly, as I said before in Week 2 or earlier: It's not the number of carries that ADP gets, it's what he does with those carries that matters. I think his 6+ YPC speaks for itself.50/50 split for the NFL rushing leader and single game record holder? I seriously doubt it. Sometimes analysts are just wrong...You guys can all bench him with your doubts, and I'll be riding him to my championship. After a ligament tear, have my doubts you will "Ride him to the championship". No way they work him as hard coming off this injury.
