Guy has reclaimed his top RB status, but last night Gerhart seemed to be more involved and now it sounds like ADP is pissed off a bit at Childress. Is this something us ADP Owners should be concerned about going forward. ADP was getting all the touches the first 6 games, and now Gerhart looks to be a guy on 3rd down and possibly goal line and short yardage.

Gerhart wastes every opportunity he gets, as a Peterson owner I am not concerned at all. Chester Taylor was a much bigger threat to his carries than Gerhart.

I think AP will only get stronger the madder Childress makes him.

Actually, I thought Gerhart looked pretty good last night. He's no ADP and he's no threat to steal significant carries, but he is no "poop." He will be a very competent stand-in if ADP gets hurt.

OP said Gerhart might steal goal-line carries? Chilly is awful but that would be one of the worst coaching moves in NFL history if he pulled AP out at the goal-line. No chance the Vikes take him out at the goal line and after what Peterson did with those last two receptions I am guessing they will scale back Toby's 3rd down work a bit. The least amount of plays Toby can play and keep AP fresh is what they will go for from now on, if they want to win.

Looked like they started to figure that out late as Peterson stayed in more on passing downs the last drive.

I thought he did look like "poop". But then I realized, it is easy to look like poop when you play behind the best RB in the NFL. That o-line is not very good at opening holes. AP earns just about every yard he gets. It is not fair/logical to expect Toby to be able to do that.

Guess the fact that they played Green Bay has everyone name-checking Najeh Davenport?I think Chilly is prepping to hitch his wagon to ADP - would be the first smart thing he did IMO.-QG

AP should ALWAYS have at least 25 touches a game. He had 30 last night for 172 total yards and 1 TD. Needs more touches. Feed the AP.

I agree, Gerhart will never be a feature back, but he showed me enough last night that makes me believe he will be more than capable of spelling ADP at times. Just a pretty solid RB, nothing special, but good enough to stick...ADP? Guy is the best in the league, has been for 3 years, nobody is really that close all-around...
