***AFC North Showdown - Ravens (7-3) at Steelers (7-2)*** (+3, 48.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

I mean that was so bad. He needed to run into contact and he’s got the first.
he could have dove for it

Doesn’t a dive still place the ball where he started?

They changed that rule to make it that way a few years ago.
oh good to know

I’m pretty sure. I’ll look it up.
Yes no ....it's a point of emphasis now starting in 2018. But it depends on the how/why/when they dive

Thanks. The last part I’m not sure about, though. It’s an assumption that the player is giving himself up.

You're not as good as the Chiefs, Bills, Lions, Eagles
The Ravens are as good as those teams. The Steelers just beat the Ravens.
You took it out of context, I clearly was scolding the STeelers' fan base, please go ahead and elevate from "that will their undoing right there" up 15-10 at the time after Russ-Int to
"Best Team in the NFL"

-Be my guest

Stop crying Steelers fans, the team played outstanding today, OK they didn't punch them in for the TDs but the defense played great and you're going into a commanding 8-2, up 2 on the Ravens, just relax and enjoy the ride.

You're not as good as the Chiefs, Bills, Lions, Eagles, we get it but many would trade places with you, have a little faith

@3C's
I wasn't quoting you directly but a couple STeelers fans cried doom n gloom up 15-10 and the Russ Int was rough but I don't root for the Steelers, sure as a person who was betting Pitt today, yeah it was terrible but to hear the fan base in here toss the team into the loss column suddenly today shows a big lack of faith in a team that leaves the field with an impressive 8-2 mark. So please don't take a little piece of what I wrote and miss the theme

Thank You!

#1 seed here we come
They're going to lose the rest of their games and Tomlin will finally have his first losing season!
Wouldn't surprise me. That's typical
I don't really think that's going to happen, just playing along the gloom and doom of some. Short week versus the browns but I'd have to hope they can pull that one off.
Yeah I was with you. Playing along with the hot takes!!;;@@@2!!#! ;)

I thought Ravens were better than both chiefs and bills but things seem to change every week.
I'm still not sure why anyone would think the Ravens are better than the Chiefs. The Ravens have now lost four games this season, including a home game to the Raiders (who suck) and an away game to the Browns (who also suck). Meanwhile, the Chiefs have not lost in 2024.

Great win but they the Steelers don't get much respect. Does anyone truly fear this team?

Nope. They scream one and done in the playoffs to me
We ARE WINNING it all!!!!

Until we lose to Cleveland this week
lol nothing would surprise me. I will say that if this D is fully healthy, they are an absolute force and capable of beating any team in the league. Unfortunately we know that won’t be the case when the playoffs start.

Said this all year.

Well, a great defense, great special teams, a strong running game with 2+ good runners, and a very talented #1 WR capable of making huge plays. Led by a QB whose skillet fits the scheme perfectly.

The Steelers may not be feared like the Bills or Chiefs, but there's not a team they can't beat if they're healthy. The Bills are beatable, and the Chiefs have had a few miracles and penalty calls go their way or else they'd have a few losses too.

The Chiefs are actually the team that shouldn’t be feared. The Steelers at 8-2 are probably one of the most underrated teams in football. But I like that nobody is giving them respect. This is one rare year where I’m actually feeling pretty good about this team.

Respect has to be earned and let’s face it, the Steelers offense hasn’t done enough to be feared.

The Steelers are a good team, maybe even better than that, but they need to win a couple of the tough games ahead and not blow the games against the Browns.

Its gonna be colder and near miserable in CLEV Thursday night with chance of rain. Not sure how Jameis handles the cold and wet weather(40 degrees). I dont think it will matter much to Russ(playing in Seattle and Denver all those years).
Should be a good game. Steelers need to get a lead early, CLEV will fold. But if they get a lead, or even tied at the half, it will come down to the final 3 minutes.
Steelers O looked really good until it got into red zone. Maybe its time to consider Fields for some plays there. And not just run it. Show run, PA, move pocket, throw the ball. It will be open.
Get Warren more RZ touches as well.
Steelers last 7 games are division rivals, or top tier teams, KC and Philly. The play 3 games in 10 days I think due to Xmas Day game. Eagles, Ravens, Chiefs, in 10 days. Thats disgusting.

This is why the games vs the Browns are so critical. The rest of the schedule is so tough you have to bank the games you’re supposed to win
Yup 2 wins against the Browns and they’re close to a lock to making the playoffs. Although if those are their only 2 wins going forward, then I’m jumping off the “Steelers are a contender “ bandwagon.
