AFCCG: Steelers at Patriots Discussion (1 Viewer)

Same guys who sais i cant believe you dont run it on first down with marshawn lynch. Sometimes i.give you armchair qbs too much credit

QB sneak not an option from the 1 inch line?
My guess is they outsmarted themselves by thinking they'd run it twice, to make NE burn their last two timeouts, thinking they'd at least have 3rd goal from the 1 or 2, but that disaster on 2nd down and then the 3rd down epic fail makes them look really foolish.

Pitt is done unless they figure out a way to get some pressure on Brady.  He's standing back there going from read to read for way too long, far too often.

Weird first half that really only went in NE's favor on that goal line stop.  IF Pit had gotten 7 there.....they'd be in the conversation.  As it is, PIT doesn't seem to have the mojo.

As a Steeler fan, that could have been much worse. It could have also a little better. I'll be back later with more analysis.

That's Pitts biggest problem, they've whiffed on some high draft choices at OLB. I mean James Harrison is still being wheeled out there.

Enough of the Tomlin/Haley ##### fest. How about Keith Butler's D refusing to even put a body on Hogan
I think that's on the players.  Golden was covering nobody so well in the middle of the field that Brady had to look elsewhere on the 2nd TD pass.

I love how people in here are just shrugging off the Bell injury.  During the Steelers 9 game win streak, he's absolutely been their best player.  I'll boldly say he's been the best player in football over that stretch.  But sour grapes and all.  I get it.

The standard is the standard.  Would love to have Bell at full strength, but they gotta role with who they have healthy.
