AJ Green concerns week 16 (1 Viewer)

Watched a lot of that game last week and he was heavily favoring that shoulder. One solid tackle and he could be done for the day early this week vs Arizona. Couple all that with the fact that he draws a tough task with Peterson shadowing him. Perhaps the only guy in the Nfl who could run with him on the deep routes.

I might be playing Bradshaw, Spiller and Felix over him this week as much as that pains me to say.

Anyone else reconsidering this normally no brainer play?

I'm probably gonna start him if he is a go... hes been too good and its a nice matchup..., hes tough and has been playing through some stuff..

I agree, if healthy he's a go. The Bengals have to win and Dalton has figured out who his best option is, open or not. Look for a good game from Green imo.

was a little surprised how high FBG had his preliminary ranking. If he is playing I am more than likly going to start him over antonio brown, not sure I would think of him as a top 5 guy this week though.

I'm a little surprised at the optimism to be honest. He did come back to the game like a true gamer last week but quickly was waving to come out after a spill in the end zone. It's got me nervous at best especially if u have some decent options.

He was targeted after the injury, and actually caught a ball if I recall, though he clearly was operating at half-capacity.

Hopefully the week rest will help -- they were calling this an AC separation (an acromioclavicular joint injury where the ligaments joining the collarbone to the shoulder bone is stretched or torn), so depending on severity it could affect range of motion.

If he's practicing, it's a good sign. Keep ice on it, AJ -- I need you in there!

Yeah, he did well last week but the large majority of his damage was in the first half, and he was looking to come out several times in the second half. I heard him referred to as mostly a decoy in the second.

Guess we will see after the practice, although I hate the risk of the one-bad-tackle-I'm-out in the playoffs.
