Albert Haynesworth on David Carr (1 Viewer)

"We knew (David) Carr would feel the rush, because he’s always worried about us. And knowing this year that we’re better, we knew he might be kind of extra scared, or worried about our defense. So we wanted to get after him. He held the ball a real long time so it gave us a chance to get there. I appreciate him holding the ball so long to help us out."

1. Carr is terrible

2. Haynesworth is going to get LOTS of money this offseason. Top 3 DT in the league.
Off topic, but does this hurt Dorsey's draft value? What sort of contract can Haynesworth expect to get as compared to a top 5 draft pick?

Haynesworth is pretty funny, but he's also an ###...
Sometimes. But he is our ### and he is dominating.
Yes he is dominating this year, in his contract year. Wonder if he settles back to his regular level of play, once he gets his new contract?

Albert's one of my favorite players in the league.

It only would of been better if he said Carr belongs in a semi-pro league. His days as Carolina starter are over. And days in the NFL aren't too far behind.

One easy way to tell a good QB from a bad QB is what he does when the speed rush comes around the corner. If he steps up in the pocket and makes a throw (Manning and Brady) he is a good QB. If he fades back and runs backwards turning a 5 yard out into a 20 yard throw (Carr and Aaron Brooks) he is a bad QB.

me too... i like watching him play! he has been a beast for us so far this season... we are still under the cap by quite a bit, so hopefully we'll give him some money before the season is over!

it's true that he stepped on Gurode's head and that was very stupid....

but i forgive him and i think he plays with a lot of passion. if you haven't seen one of the titans games yet, he blows up the middle of the offensive line on almost every play.

when he's doing that, it makes our whole defense better....

~~~ on a side note, with griffin finally starting at safety, our defense may be the best in the league ~~~
What on god's green earth would make him your favorite player? His stomping last year aside, this is the first year he has been dominating. Coincidently enough during his contract year, I'm sure once he gets paid again he won't slide back into his mediocre ways. :)
For the most part, DT is not a name recognition position. Haynesworth has been good every year when healthy. This is the first year his weight has been fully under control and healthy (besides last year which was tarnished by his foolish act vs Dallas).
mediocre was a bad choice of words on my part. I would say he has been average to good, not a stand out player. I also wouldn't have much to say about him if he hadn't stomped on what'shisname's face last year. I'm not a homer but from the outside looking in he looks like one of those players that has been OK, but plays his but off during his contract year, then goes back to just being OK. Which is more frustrating to me as a fan beacause you know he has it in him to be one of the best in the league.
Albert Haynesworth is a real classy player and a guy I'd want my children looking up to.
That head stomping he gave to Andre Gurode was just another example of his toughness.
/sarcasm
