Wait until I start arguing about whether the 1969-1970 season should count in the 60s or the 70s.This has been a very fun draft.
Bonus points for calling out Dolan.I'm debating whether to pick responsibly or pick for fun...
I'm going with neither. I'm picking for MENACE!
15.07 - Charles Oakley, PF, 1990
He was a double-double machine in the 90's and a walking crime spree on the court. Watch ya neck!
NBA All-Star (1994)
NBA All-Defensive First Team (1994)
NBA All-Defensive Second Team (1998)
NBA All-Rookie First Team (1986)
NABC Division II Player of the Year (1985)
NCAA Division II rebounding leader (1985)
And his jump shot. :Kisses fingers: A true thing of beauty.Tough call here, lots of value on the board.
15.08 Joakim Noah, C 00s
I'm kind of amazed that Horford went 5 rounds earlier than the guy who was better at basketball and led Horford's college teams. I buy a little discrepancy because of Horford's sustained excellence, but his peak never reached Noah's. In the five years before his body broke down, Noah was good for 11-11-4, a defensive player of the year award, and three all-defense selections alongside a top-five MVP finish (and another year of receiving MVP votes) - I couldn't find a single MVP vote for Horford, ever. My point is: just like at Florida, they're pretty close...not 5 rounds apart.
I'll happily pair Noah with Leonard and have the budding 2010s team of defense in this house.

Almost as beautiful as Deandre Jordan's free throw shooting. Steve Ballmer actually covered his head whenever DJ was at the line. And his jump shot. :Kisses fingers: A true thing of beauty.
ehh he was good when there was a lack of big men in the league. Joel Embiid literally owns Deandre Jordan.15.09 DeAndre Jordan – C 2010s
With the previous pick Instinctive thought he had signed DeAndre Jordan to a lucrative contract to man the middle for his 2010s team, but Blake Griffin and I flew to his home to convince him to came to a better run organization where he’s loved. If that doesn't make sense to you, please read THIS One of the best free agency stories in recent NBA history.
…and we’re happy to have him on board ready to do THIS for the squad. Yesterday was the 8 year anniversary of DJ’s all-time dunk and Brandon Knight’s death. RIP
In his prime DeAndre Jordan was absolutely unstoppable. He was a double-double machine, with 4 stocks to boot. He averaged over 13 boards for seven consecutive seasons while putting up 12 points on 70%. So stupid how good he and Blake Griffin were together at PF & C.
Officials:
- 3X All-NBA
- 2X All-Defense
- 2X Rebounding Champ
- Friends with Kevin Durant & Kyrie Irving so he's now a Net
You probably heard about Patrick Ewing being stopped for his ID at MSG tonight... What a mess that guy is. Spike Lee, Oak, Ewing...Bonus points for calling out Dolan.

"Why don't we take all these bricks and build a shelter for the homeless, so maybe your mother will have a place to stay."It's a masonry convention in here!
I had a college roommate that loved that movie so much that he recorded it onto a cassette tape and would listen to it when he took a long trip because he could "watch the movie in his mind" while he drove."Why don't we take all these bricks and build a shelter for the homeless, so maybe your mother will have a place to stay."
WTF DONT SPOTLIGHT MANThe names going before [some guy] are insulting.
At this point y'all are maybe 10 rounds late.WTF DONT SPOTLIGHT MAN
Was not the intent, take it easy.So you disagreeing with our evaluation of a player means you can just be a jerk? Come on.
Thanks for the quick edit - we call this a @Jayrod btw, in honor of our original offender xDWas not the intent, take it easy.
It’s all good, some of us are trying to steal some late round value. Was not the intent, take it easy.
I missed his original post, but I can only assume it was about Vinny Del Negro. Thanks for the quick edit - we call this a @Jayrod btw, in honor of our original offender xD
I get it.It’s all good, some of us are trying to steal some late round value.
This is the last pick in sequence, correct?15.09 DeAndre Jordan – C 2010s
No worries. I don’t actually care that much, just thought being an ### would get an edit and prevent “controversy”.I get it.
Sorry again - no coffee yet, I've been away from FBG for awhile, first time in the thread... simply wasnt thinking.
I have a few guys that I still wouldn't have picked who got taken in early rounds too. That's the fun part!I missed his original post, but I can only assume it was about Vinny Del Negro.
In all seriousness, I have some guys out there (particularly in the 2010's) that I had rated to rounds 8-10.

Oh man, was hoping to get him here.15.11 - Horace Grant, PF 90s
The interior is strong with Hakeem and Horace.
He was never going to make it to you...Oh man, was hoping to get him here.
