Sorry, I needed a break from pre-draft rumor hell.......
I base mine on three different situations. Either they 1) were'nt ready for the NFL.....or 2) missed out on a possible big time $$$ contract by leaving early....or 3) luck of the draw, ended up in a hell hole situation. And, I listed only skill positions, from recent drafts, including no linemen or defense. So list em if you got em. My picks, not all inclusive, but just to name a few...
Maurice Clarett -- A given, he's the poster boy for this discussion. Should've stayed 2 years. Who knows what might have been. The NFL is better without him though.
Mike Williams -- Similiar situation as Clarett, might actually have a career right now instead of hanging on by a thread in Detroit. Of course I doubt his work ethic would've improved in one year.
Michael Bush -- My only candidate from this year's class. Hands down would've been a top pick next year.
Chris Henry (the WR)-- We've all seen the talent. Not sure if the off-field problems would've changed, but he could've went higher than rd 3, and ended up as a #1 WR somewhere, instead of stuck behind CJ and TJ, and currently suspended.
Brian Calhoun -- Kind of out of left field here. Based solely on this year's weak crop of RBs (and equally last year's extremely talented one). Those who have seen him know he's a talent. I believe he'd be a first rounder this year, and certainly not stuck in RB hell in Detroit.
