Allen Bradford (1 Viewer)

Blount hasn't been ruled out yet. Have to wait until Wednesday to find out what his status in practice is. Morris doesn't seem to know.

If Blount is out Graham should get most touches vs. New Orleans.

Welp, I'm Jumping off fella's... :missing: He got the exact opportunity I was talking about him getting ...and they put him on waiver's ..oof
Not exactly a vote of confidence thats for sure, but now that he is in Seattle and reunited with his college coach you never know what might happen. still worth a stash the deepest of leagues IMO

FWIW Blount was cut by two teams (the seahawks and titans iirc) before blowing up in Tampa last year...

you don't remember correctly. He agreed in principle with 9ers, but then Fisher convinced him to sign with tenn. He as cut by them and claimed by tampa the next day

Hey, don't fret. You presented info on a long-shot guy that you liked and it didn't pan out. I appreciate you giving us the info, stating your case why you think he might amount to something, and then we can do whatever we want with it. I'd rather that then never hearing about these kind of guys. Some of them will pan out, and if they do at least we've heard about them and had the chance to nab them.

Bradford was dropped in two of my leagues AFTER he was signed by Seattle..

Owners sleeping at the wheel/frustrated or is there something coming out that this is a death-nell for Bradford. ?

I actually think his chances (even if slim) are a little better in Seattle. I also think Lynch is the worst feature back in the league.

Zero Pete loves his Southern Cal people. If Bradford has a chance to play anywhere, it'll be here. Why would someone drop him after getting signed to SEA?

My understanding is Bradford was waived to make room for additional safeties on the roster (after the injuries to TB safeties) going into the NO game. The SS is crucial in the cover 2.

Im guessing they were hoping no one would claim him and they could get him onto the practice squad. Just a dumb move. Should have worked it another way.

If I had him, I'd hold.

Really? Is that why he passed on Mays, traded Jackson, cut White and Tatupu and didn't go after Leinart (twice)? Williams played his way onto the team. He's shown, if anything, that being an SC Alum is a hindrance to being on the team.

:goodposting: Carroll and Schneider have clearly shown they want production and that previous connections don't mean squat when they consider signing/keeping players.

Also remember Pete traded for a hurt Leon Washington. With that pick the Jets selected Joe McNight - a player that is essentially the same.

I don't think Pete has a USC bias, but he seems to certainly ex players a chance especially when he knows what they had back at USC.

:goodposting: The fact that he avoided some of his past players like Mays and Leinart who went on to bust, makes the fact that he believes in Bradford all the more encouraging. This definitely doesnt hurt his value

Seahawks waived RB Allen Bradford. He lasted five days on the roster. It's not a great sign for Bradford, who was recruited in college by Seahawks coach Pete Carroll. The team could also be trying to sneak Bradford through waivers and onto the practice squad. Oct 19 - 3:41 PM

I'm assuming this means Seattle has him on the practice squad?
