Why do I feel like we're being trolled by a University? I saw this a few weeks ago, but it needs mention for just a news story. I'm laughing, not outraged. This -- Wesleyan -- is the place where we argued, in a previous thread, about the movement toward co-ed fraternities. I said it was unnecessary at such a progressive school, but that they'd get over it, even though it was completely unnecessary. Sounds about right.

eta* ^That's fine. I understand. It was part of the story itself, though, and the acronym was on Wesleyan's own housing page, which would seem to undercut its offensiveness. I wasn't trying to slip a slur by. It's the official acronym of the house and has been used repeatedly by many editors.
