I am wondering if there is any opinion or analysis on the projections offered by the "experts" here at FBG. I like the Projections Dominator and particularly the ability to weight the experts. However, are there any articles, or posts, describing how these experts come to these projections? They all obviously have different philosophies when generating the projections. Is there any insight from them about those philosophies, or FBG customer opinions? Are all these guys stat freaks, or is Tremblay, for example, more of a gut player? Is there any analysis of their prior year projections? I am sure they do some analysis looking backward, if for no other reason bragging rights. I would also think that someone here has analyzed the projections of these people and come to some type of opinion.
Do an yof them have a particular niche that should be weighed more for that particular position? Is Mike Herman THE man for kicker analysis, if that is the only thing he projects? Do these experts share their info? Is Dodds taking into account already what Tremblay and Smith have to say?
I love the ability to shift weightings, but I would like to use the appropriate weights rather than averaging everyone and diluting good projections. I asked this in the Apps forum and Bruce gave some good input on where to find articles by these experts, but I am now more curious what the sharks have to say. Thanks.
