Glad you feel better but what did people expect....surgery on a hamstring then back in 3-4 weeks? If nothing else you guy's make me feel better.![]()
Ya it was reported that he felt some tugging in his leg while trying to open up. Instead of trying to push through it they gave him a couple of days off. I think they are being smart and safe with their best weapon. My guess is he comes back week 12 unless he is able to test it this week and not feel anything wrong with it a couple of days in a row.Rotoworld MondayAndre Johnson (hamstring) admitted that he had a "setback" last Monday.Although coach Gary Kubiak continues to say Johnson is "close," it sure doesn't seem that way. "If it wouldn't have happened Monday, then it probably could've happened on Wednesday in practice," said Johnson, who did some light running on Friday. With the bye looming in Week 11, we wouldn't be surprised if he targets Week 12 for his return. The Texans are 3-2 without Johnson and face the Bucs Sunday.Source: ESPN.com Nov 7 - 8:07 A![]()

Whether or not wide receiver Andre Johnson plays is up in the air.Coach Gary Kubiak said that Johnson worked out on Monday and is “back on track” after missing his fifth consecutive game with a hamstring injury. The five-time Pro Bowler was sore coming out of a workout last Monday and did not practice last week.“The workout went very good,” Kubiak said. “Will he be on the practice field Wednesday? I don’t know. We’re going to take it a day at a time, but we’re back on the track to Andre getting back on the field here very, very quickly, and hopefully that’s this week, but I don’t know. We’ll see, but he’s very upbeat. Went through a tough little few days there the week before, but now we’ve come out of this thing fine.”
I learned Kubiak needs to work on his grammar.Latest from Kubiak, still nothing to go on.
“The workout went very good,” Kubiak said.
Countdown till that Jacksonville reporter sends another letter to the Texans to complain about the message Kubiak's grammar is sending to the children...I learned Kubiak needs to work on his grammar.Latest from Kubiak, still nothing to go on.

why not give yesterday as his standard off day and not the first day of the week you practice? sounds like Kubiak should run for office with all the junk he feeds people.Texans | Andre Johnson does not run

Anyone else think this kind of back and forth (might play, might not play) is going to go on for the next two weeks...followed by sitting week 10 as well just to get extra rest with the Texans bye on week 11?
I think this is the first honest statement Kubiak has made about AJ since the injury. In his heart of hearts, I'm positive this was the timetable for at least the last month."We should come out of the bye knowing that he's back ready to go and be a part of our team as we go into those last six weeks. ... The smart thing to do is to give him this extra time to rest."
If he is healthy he is awesome and will be ranked top 5 from week 11 on.I'm considering dealing Mendenhall for him..do you guys think he will come back strong and be a top 5 WR?
