Sep 24 Megan Manfull, of the Houston Chronicle, reports Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson (knee) is likely out for Week 3. He just barely started bending his knee Sunday, Sept. 23.
Sep 24 Johnson (knee) will remain in an immobilizer through Tuesday or Wednesday and is considered "doubtful" for this week's game against Atlanta, according to head coach Gary Kubiak, the Texans' official site reports.
Recommendation: "As far as Andre (Johnson), he’s still on the immobilizer today. I think we’ll take him off that tomorrow or the next day; then we’ll start to go day-to-day and see what kind of progress he makes. I would think he’s still doubtful as we go into this week," said Kubiak. Johnson missed Sunday's loss to the Colts. With him and Jacoby Jones (shoulder) expected to be out, Andre' Davis, Jerome Mathis and Kevin Walter will see most of the action at wideout.
