Sounded more like he was told to go appologize to me. Either way he either said he was sorry or did what he was told.

See, I think he'd push it right to the limit and then back off. He could get himself Keyshawned at will, I just don;t think he wants to. He wants to push everything right to the line, and then back off just enough that there are no serious consequences to TO.Just my read on it but suspenions = lost $$$ and TO hates that.

Precisely... he took his medicine. Din't necessarily like it, but he did what he needed to. And I'm fairly certain he was told to.

Do you think Reid told him apologize or be suspended? Look, on my original post it said "Terrell Suspended?" With a question mark. I also said to take it for what it is worth. I never claimed it was definitely true, just that it was possible. It was all over the Eagles boards this morning. Also, if he was suspended, why tell Washington now?

Just heard the TO statement and yes, he was definitely told to read that. Not very sincere.
 
For everyone saying this organization is different and they don't put up with BS, you're wrong. If any player is as talented as TO, he will be given 8th, 9th, and 10th chances---until he stops producing.

Why do I get the feeling that this topic does not warrent me spending the time to read all 8 pages of this thread and the several other Philly/TO threads right now? Anyone care to just give me the footnotes real quick here? :D

 
Sal on the Patrick show right now, says if Owens was going to be suspended they probably would've done it by now. Doesn't think the Eagles are too anxious to pull the trigger on a suspension.

I didn't quite hear it that way. I thought Sal was answering the question "will TO be Keyshawned" and his answer was that the organization has discussed it, but they realize the message that would send to the rest of the team. Sal said they are not ready to pull the plug on the season (by Keyshawning Owens) just yet.I think a 1 or 2 game suspension however is what was on the line when TO made his 'apology'. IMO, when Reid said a suspension was not out of the question he was waiting for TO to follow thru with his apology.

ESPN spread rumors Reid would suspend T.O. in his news conference and Reid said he's handling this situation in house.

 
Where are all the posters who bashed the guy who started this thread now? Yous guys have a lot of crow to eat.
