I haven't seen anyone mention this, so I thought that I would ask.

Why was Romo the holder for that field goals? How many other starting qb's are the holder for extra points and field goals?

AFAIK, none. Not even Romo. The Backup QB is almost always the holder. When Bledsoe was demoted, no one else on the 'Boys could fill in, however, and Romo--the usual holder--had to take over on Place Kicks as well.Only Jake Plummer was both the starting QB and PK holder, until he was demoted.
