That's too bad. I can see both sides. Anquan Boldin's a great player and should get paid as such but the Cardinals already have big money invested in Larry Fitzgerald and it's not smart to use up so much of your salary cap on two wide receivers even if they are the best players on the team.

Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin, frustrated that his contract with Arizona has not been renegotiated, indicated Wednesday that he will play out the remaining three years of his contract, then leave to sign with another team. "After last year, I was promised a deal would get done before this season. But the season is here and obviously that hasn't happened. I don't want a deal. People may think I'm being funny, or just saying that to say that. But I'm just tired of it. I'm washing my hands of the whole situation," Boldin said. "My agent (Drew Rosenhaus) has orders not to negotiate".
He may very well seek a trade after this season, but that's not what he said.

this is flaring up again with Boldin stating that Whisenhunt is "part of management" and that they aren't communicating.
apparently the new deal that the cards offered Boldin has HALF of fitz's and the Cards said it wasn't their best offer, but just a "starting point".
no way Boldin is on this team in 2009.
