I use regular deodorant in the cooler months just because it’s probably healthierShave/trim the pits?
Wear loose white cotton?
Drink more water?
I don’t use antiperspirants, just regular deodorant but I’m ALWAYS hot in the summer so I sympathize. We’ve had two weeks of 90 degree+ weather here in Maryland. Brutal.
GL!
Baby powder is an excellent suggestion.Deodorant+baby powder.
Strong enough for a man, but made for a woman.I use my wife's Secret, it's awesome![]()

Never heard of this. I'm intrigued.
Ha! I used to use this and then got Covid. Afterwards, it smelled horrible, but lots of things smell different now. I just assumed it was covid that ruined it for me, but you are right, it smells horrible now. And it ruins the pits of my shirts.Mr R used to use Mitchum unscented gel..Then they changed the formula, and it REEKS. They claim it's still unscented, but they lie. Now he's using my Almay unscented gel. Same company but no horrible odor. Weird.
(I can't stand the scented stuff.)
If this is really an issue for you, you can try some over-the-counter stuff. I used to deal with this in my 20's until I discovered these brands. You just dab them on. They use a lot of aluminum (which I am sure isn't the best for you), but they keep you dry. I used one for around a year. I no longer have excessive sweating.Might be the Texas heat but my armpits are ignoring the daily antiperspirant application. I have 4 brands in the drawer and have been switching between them to no avail.

Interesting! We had a couple of foreign exchange students from South Korea live with us several years ago. My wife was fussing at one of them to clean up their room (specifically dirty clothes) and that the room smelled. Their comeback was, “South Koreans do not smell”. Was not true for this particular South Korean dude!No antiperspirant or deodorant in our household. No Qtips either.
When you have the no body odor gene (ABCC11) it’s not needed. Interestingly, though, close to 80% of Americans with the ABCC11 still use deodorant. I did until I was around 55ish.
80-95% of East Asians (Chinese, Japanese, Koreans) have the ABCC11 variant; about 97% of Caucasian Europeans have the smelly armpit allele.
