Anybody have any updates on Scheffler? It looks like a pretty good matchup but after last weeks fiasco I'm a little gun shy. I also have Dustin Keller and might start him instead of Tony.

I don't see how anyone could be comfortable starting Scheffler right now. Not that he might not go off with a big game, but even if that happens I'd guess it would be on something like three or four catches which he might get some big yards on.As for you, I'd be far more comfortable with Keller right now until we see something different in Denver.
Edit to add: I'm starting Shockey over him and didn't really ponder it as a choice this week. Shockey seems to be splitting looks with Miller but I just can't afford to look at a zero by my TE this week. Shockey might not blow up, but he's far more likely to keep me in the game.
Sounds like Eddie Royal could be a game-timer and even if he plays could be hobbled so that should increase the amount of looks Scheffler gets. Plus the Jets have been awful against TE's so far this season.
However, I can't say he's the most confidence inspiring start, I'm starting him over Heath Miller, but over a guy like Keller it would be a lot tougher.
I've got Shockey and Scheffler too....but Boss was on the WW this week and I think I am going away from the other two. I have 11 total points from the TE position in 12 weeks. Pathetic.
Very tempted to roll with Scheffler but can't afford a one catch game. I keep thinking this is the week he is going to start being a part of Denver's offense but it is hard to pull the trigger after watching him get one catch in the last two games.
Shockey seems to be coming on and I drafted him thinking he would be top ten guy. He seems to starting to get more looks but the Billy Miller thing is kind of disheartening.
Boss has a lot more targets and gets most if not all of the looks for the Giants.
Traded away MeMo for Cooley before the deadline to avoid this situation. He was killing me all year.
Royal being dinged could help the cause, but Graham is geting the red zone looks, and Cutler is struggling. This is a boom or bust pick IMO, so if you have another decent TE option good for 50 and a possible TD, I'd sit Scheff.

The funny/crappy thing about Shockey and Scheffler is that I though that I was drafting two top 10, or even top 5, TEs here and it would be a position of strength for my team.
Thanks fellow sharks. That's what I needed to hear. Another note, if you owned Cotchery would you start him along with Keller or would you swap your WR out for someone like Santonio?
With Royal potentially being out, does that get Scheffler more in the mix? Trying to decide between him and Daniels, both of which I thought would be better options at this point of the season
