Any Trade for Jay Cuter Yet in your Leagues (1 Viewer)

I've seen him moved in 2 of my Dynasties so far... both involved a top RB & both Leagues were QB Yardage heavy

One 14 team league was Roy Williams / M Lynch / Gracia for Cutler and 2 scurbs;

Before u kill it understand the league has a crazy scoring system... 10 yds = 1 pt for all players, including QBs. So Jay is king... and the guy had no one had QB, its just he has no one but Jay now, & TJ Housh

I was offered Big Jay for Reggie Wayne in this league and almost pulled the trigger... I think I would of if this other guy didn't give up that package before me... its 1 PPR too

another league I actually traded for Cutler

I gave McNabb / Portis / K Smith / 09 3rd for Cutler / Fargas / Torjan / EJ Henderson

Before you kill me on giving too much, The Scoring is 25 yds = 1 pt / 4 pt TDs for QBs. 20 yds = 1 pt / 1 PPR / 6 pt TDs for everyone else; so a great QB will carry u and I had very decent depth @ RB.

The trade help me Pair Fargas w/ DMac & Torjab w/ S Young

Plus it was a salary Contract League, Jay's Contract is pretty Cheap for how hes performing.

What have you guys been seeing him go for, and if you own him... what would it take to give him up?

In a standard league Cutler and Felix Jones were traded for Braylon.
 
I was offered Palmer and Berrian for Cutler and Jordy Nelson.

It took me a New York minute to decline the offer.

 
Traded Ricky W (non keeper) and Ed Royal (non keeper) for Cutler (keeper)

Guy had Rogers and Kitna but no WR's.

I wouldn't have done it if I were him but glad he did.

To truly evaluate a 2-for-1 or 3-for-1 trade, don't you have to look at the starters that would be replaced to assess short-term trade?

Example: If I trade Lynch and Roy Williams for Cutler, and My RB/WR replacements are Bowe and McFadden, then isn't my replacement tradeoff pretty much Lynch/Williams for Cutler, Bowe, McFadden?

And for the other guy, who is he replacing Lynch and Williams for? How much of an upgrade is he getting at RB/WR?

This is why I always have trouble assessing a trade merely by the players who were involved in the trade. It seems like you've got to talk about who's being replaced.

that is true but Eddie Royal & Ricky Williams for Cutler is not one of those types of trades. Getting Cutler is better on any & all levels..
 
I just gave Schaub,Lynch,Holmes,Selvin for Cutler,McGahee, Marshall

Feel a little sellers remorse but not a ton. I now have Cutler, Owens, Marshall, Westbrook on one squad. Pretty good.

You use FAR too many nicknames...I actually hated reading that (Torjan?). It would be a lot easier to provide feedback if you said "McFadden" and not "DMac"...that's my two cents'And yeah...there's almost no ceiling for Cutler right now.

FWIW. In re-draft, all td's 6pts, 1pt per 10 rush/rec, 1 pt 25 passing.

I gave: Cutler, Warner, Forte and Holmes

I got: Favre, Lynch, Andre Johnson and Buff D

I have Larry Johnson as my #2 RB behind Barber and felt i needed to improve

I feel that AJ is an upgrade from Holmes

I also have Romo as my starter

In my league it's very hard to get a trade done. This is the best I could get now. If Cutler continues to go off or Romo gets hurt, i'll regret this one.

I just could't stand the idea of starting LJ any more. I'm also worried that Forte my lose some value if CHI starts to play poorly again. And Lynch has a very juicy schedule. Also, if AJ can stay healthy he might finish in the top 5.

You use FAR too many nicknames...I actually hated reading that (Torjan?). It would be a lot easier to provide feedback if you said "McFadden" and not "DMac"...that's my two cents'And yeah...there's almost no ceiling for Cutler right now.

Was a big trade in my league with Cutler involved, anyway here it is.

Team X got (1-1 record atm goin for 1-2 imo)

Steven Jackson

Chad Johnson

Jamal Lewis

Carson Palmer

Team Y got (0-2 record goin for 1-2)

Jay Cutler

Donald Driver

Lee Evans

Edgerrin James

Kevin Smith

 
Well, didn't trade for him this week, but it does make me feel a lot better about trading my measly 6th round pick next year for him (in a Keep-3 league). And he was to be my backup to McNabb! :confused:

 
Before week 2, our owner that lost Brady traded Reggie Wayne to get Holt and Cutler.

Last week he had the highest score in our league. I'm glad he worked out the trade though, I thought he was left for dead.

Right now, I would only rather have Romo and MAYBE Peyton (who I have) at QB. The sky is the limit for his value.

 
:confused: I'm thinking of shopping Cutler this week (12 team redraft league); I'm gonna try for a upgrades at RB & WR; cool seeing what his perceived value seems to be in various other leagues.
 
I offered Big Ben and Bryant Johnson to the Cutler owner (who also has Rivers and T.Edwards) in a Dynasty league. Was shot down cold (and justifiably so).

I took a shot. Considering upping it to Big Ben and Anquan, but very hesitant to offer that much. I am all aboard the Cutler bandwagon though.

 
12 team keeper league, ppr

Almost pulled off Romo and Vincent Jackson for Cutler and Desean Jackson. FWIW, owner told me it was more than fair and if he wasn't a huge Cutler fan he would probably do it.

Don't think he realizes my biased (is it obvious?) and am probably glad he didn't counter...

I've been offered Favre & R. Moss for Cutler & Bowe--but just can't stand to move him before at least seeing this week's game!

The game also features my recently-moved-to-1B-QB Mr. Brees!

TD heavy league....4 pts/pass....Traded Burress/Schaub for Roy Williams (DET)/Cutler

My other QB besides Schaub was (and still is) Hasselbeck. Had to do something. Think the trade will work out OK.

My Bad, I meant Torian, the rookie from Denver.to continue the thread, I offered Manning for Cutler / 09 2nd and got shot down.
 
ANYBODY who trades away Cutler for ANYONE...especially, in a dynasty league....have probably never even watched a football game :goodposting:

 
I had cutler & manning, terrible at WR.

I gave up cutler & m. turner after week 1 and got lynch & b. edwards. (I sure hope edwards steps it up.)

Who knows--if you're really drinking the Koolaid--you might think Cutler would go for Brady's TD record this year.A couple more games like the last two and I'm thinking he might... :popcorn:

 
After week 1, in a 4pt per passing TD redraft, I traded Cutler (who was my "backup" to Brees) for Reggie Wayne. His QB before the trade were Garrard and Hasslebeck, and I had Colston. Even if Cutler ended up starting for me over Brees most weeks, I still consider this trading someone that may NOT be in my lineup each week, for a sure-fire every-week starter in Wayne.

 
i have him, rogers, kitna and Palmer in a redraft 10 team league. Put ROgers out there, but no one is biting. Might put Cutler out there after another monster game or 2, try and snag a high2, low 1 type rb, throwing in a deangelo or something with it. 10 team leagues are wierd though, no one is really in dire need of a qb, but at the same time lots of teams have depth at rb and might want the serious upgrade to qb. Or I can just ride him out. Dunno, sometimes making trades for the sake of making trades is detrimental to your FF team health...
