Yes, because Murray was healthy enough for early downs. Randle is the one you want unless they go into throwing mode.

DeMarco Murray (hand) practiced for the second-consecutive day on Thursday, getting in a limited session.

Murray was officially listed as "DNP" on Wednesday even though he was observed by the assembled media as practicing. Either way, Murray continues to get reps, and has even been catching passes with his left hand wrapped up. It sure seems like the Cowboys expect him to suit up against the Colts, though it's possible he'll officially be a game-time decision. Murray comes with much more risk than usual for the fantasy finals, but owners in season-long leagues have to play him if he's active. Joseph Randle and Lance Dunbar will form a committee if Murray can't go. More of a pass catcher than Randle, Dunbar's role figures to be bigger than usual even if Murray plays.

It applies to both of them, but Murray is the ultimate Mr. Glass. He has been injured pretty much constantly since his Oklahoma days. Bad luck? Nope. He's just brittle and not built for the rigors of featured back duty.

I’ve worn the same thing, because it feels comfortable for me. I haven’t changed anything." Murray's claim is mostly supported by his production, though he's averaged a pedestrian 3.8 yards per carry across three games after boasting a 4.8 mark heading into Week 16. He's scored three touchdowns in the process, however, and even caught six passes. Green Bay's run defense allowed 4.3 yards per carry in the regular season, and is not an imposing matchup.

Can you, though? I'm going to be looking to sell this offseason and I'm kind of expecting most buyers to be cautious and to value him quite a bit lower than his recent production dictates.

It only takes one person, and you know damn well 1 out of 12 would pay a lot for him.

And I mean I would sell cause you can get a boatload, I wouldnt sell for the reasons stated previously. Just my philosphy. When a RB goes nuts and his value skyrockets, I look to sell.

I think he will be just fine going forwards, but I will go after top tier WRs instead.

The Packers largely held Murray in check until he lost a crucial third-quarter fumble, knocked loose by OLB Julius Peppers. Murray might have gone to the house if not for Peppers' play. It was Murray's first fumble since Week 8, and Peppers' sixth forced fumble of the season. The Cowboys' offensive line took over late in the third quarter, however, and sprung loose Murray down the sideline for a 26-yard sprint, before he dove in from a yard out on the next play to give Dallas a 21-13 lead. It wouldn't be sufficient as Aaron Rodgers engineered a comeback Packers win. Murray wraps up his historic 436-carry season with a rushing touchdown in seven straight games. Due to the massive workload, Murray will be a very interesting case on the free agent market. He slowed down the stretch and turns 27 in February.

Bryan Broaddus of the Cowboys' official website does not believe the team's 2015 starting running back is on the roster right now.

In other words, Broaddus believes that DeMarco Murray will walk in free agency and Joseph Randle/Lance Dunbar won't be handed the gig. Perhaps that's because of a strong 2015 running back draft class, headed by Melvin Gordon and Todd Gurley. Or maybe Jerry Jones will make a play for Texas native Adrian Peterson. Murray's 2015 landing spot is obviously one of the biggest dominoes fantasy owners should be tracking come March.

They are right at the cap and Dez is a free agent as well. Murray is going to want a big (relative to RB salaries today) contract and I don't think they will be able to sign both.

Yes, I think any RB that is 27 who just blew up is a great sell high. I think he has 3 more excellent years, but when you can sell a RB for close to top 5-10 overall prices and get a nice haul (depending on the haul obviously), I think it's a good move.

Plus also the real chance he sucks or get hurt, as is the reality of the even fluctuating value of RBs.

Also the chance he leaves Dallas (which I dont think will happen but ya never know). I don't see a better place for him to land IMO.

Since Bryant is widely expected to remain in Dallas either via the franchise tag or a long-term deal, that makes Murray the odd man out. Murray put the Cowboys on his back in 2014, but has a long injury history, and turns 27 next month. Those are two strikes against a running back, though the situation is obviously different in Murray's case since he just led the league in rushing. Murray will likely reach free agency, but could end up back in Dallas if he doesn't like what he hears on the open market.
