Anybody feel like defending these cops? (1 Viewer)

Didn't watch video, I side with the cops.
I watched it. You are correct. It almost looked like the wrestler and his wife had this planned. I think they wanted a lawsuit. I would give money to a fund set up to taze the wife. She had an excuse for everything the wrestler did that he shouldn't have done.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: That is classic! You R 1 of A kind!!!!
I think rule number 1, that's before rule number 2 (just in case) when being stopped by law enforcement is turning a light on and putting your hands where they can be seen (getting out of the vehicle is the incorrect move here). Sorry this is complicated for some

If you watch closely, please tell me what rule he broke in this video?

Especially after you take the police on a 3 mile ride before you decide to stop.

Excuse me officer, I'm going to need to see your license, carriers permit, social security card, and a naked picture of your wife.

Not sure this thread is going the way the OP thought it would.

Maybe he should require 3 forms of ID before anyone is allowed to post here.

3 forms of ID? WTF!?!
After a 5 minute Google search I didn't find anything, anywhere that backs up this claim about three forms of ID. I did find a bunch of people saying that it wasn't true/a myth/they'd never heard of such a thing (including lawyer type people). Smells like some of that "sovereign citizen" BS.

In Ontario you have the right to drive to the nearest police station if you are asked to pull over by the cops.

Idiots like these people are actually providing a service. All cops should be worried at all times they might be on camera.

Yeah, someone got taken in by some internet bull####.
I guarantee half of the idiots that watch this video demand three forms of ID during their next encounter with a police officer. "I saw it on the internet in that video with that girl, it's gotta be true"... Hopefully this leads to more taser videos

Not these two Mensa Members. They already have the lawsuit money spent. Bad Cops suck but these two aren't what I would call innocent victims in this scenario.

My favorite part was their boss being like "don't worry about it, your lapel camera was on. What? Why not? Ok. Well at least the dash cam." And the other guy was all "oh yeah. That was for sure on. Wait... No, we turn that thing off for these shakedowns".

Is that a direct quote?

Pretty much exactly, yeah. Unless you can't read faces.
Cop with glasses asks "I'm searching for camera footage, were any of them on? (then something garbled)

Bald cop: (points to body cam) "I didn't have this on until afterwards".

Couple of other unintelligible things

Bald cop: "My in-car might have caught it...

Glasses cop: "Was it on?"

Bald cop: "Should be with the lights on...ehhh...I don't think it was."

Video ends.

Where is the part about the shakedowns?

According to the narrative under the video, the wife used to intern for the inforwars wannabe site that posted the video. I love the imaginary rules these folks come up with (3 forms of ID, etc.).

They told the guy to get on the ground. He did not. I don't see a problem with how they handled him. Don't follow instructions, what do you expect?

First thing he should have done is stay in the car. Get out of the car and be hostile then you're setting yourself up to get "hostility" back.

yep. He probably told her to film this and wanted to provoke them into doing something that could get them on the news. I wouldn't want to be a cop these days. People want to make you look bad.

Who doesn't pull over right away and then gets out of the car and walks towards the police? Especially with a young child in the car? This guy and his wife are not victims here. Are there cops that may go too far? sure, but not in that lame attempt at catching some on video.

this is a fishing trip, right?

I'm not good at avoiding the hook.

"turn around" x I lost-count

no... I'll walk towards you instead while saying this is bs

please taze me bro.

3 forms of ID- the ####?

"armed strangers" = police?
