Anyone else stuck with NFL.com's fantasy league? (1 Viewer)

I play a league at my work. Last year we used ESPN and this year we used NFL.com, I guess because of that stupid advertisement, "you want the NFL, go to the NFL".

Well, the client kinda sucks. It isn't very user friendly. You can't track what the the current status is very well on the players like on ESPN. The highlights they show are like of sacks or fumbles forced on your players more than they are of good passes, runs, or TD's. The points of available players don't get posted until the next day. It just isn't very user friendly, and the WAP and Iphone apps are seriously lacking.

I hope we switch next year.

What about you folks?

One of my leagues moved there this year. I give it a solid B for effort, and a C for execution. The in-game chart/projections are a waste, mostly because they change so drastically throughout the day. Some could see this as a positive, as it's constantly adjusting for reality, but i like comparing actual points to pre-game projections. The video highlights are a great idea, but seems that half the time i click the 'video dot' the video doesn't match the description. The custom news stories are a good idea, but only league commissioners can post them?!? That seriously takes away from it. The mobile site is lacking, at best, and I wouldn't know about the iPhone app because they charge $4.95 for it (obviously, it's not expensive, but when so many other sites offer a free app, i believe charging anything is a negative). I also don't like how they don't update weekly stats until the day after the games. If the site is able to have live scoring, they should be able to update season totals in real-time as well.

For a first-year site, it's not horrible, but I don't think we'll be returning next year.

I agree with the video highlights, at times they don't even work, or I get that the video has been removed. I only have experience with ESPN besides the NFL client, but I hear Yahoo and CBS both have good apps, or 3rd party apps, and that the regular web clients are much more user-friendly.
