Had to go car shopping over the weekend since mine was totaled by some idiot in front of my house at 3 in the morning last week. I had a Honda Accord that I racked 130k+ miles on so no complaints. Went to go look at some slightly used Accords but the prices across the board for a used 2008/2009 Accord with not a lot of bells and whistles was about 20k...you can play with the numbers and I found some willing to deal more than others but you pay close to $20k...a new one borders on 25-30K, I was a little surprised since I haven't bought a car in 10 years.
Test drove a lot of cars and then my wife and I went to an Infiniti lot as I had heard some good things about the used G35 market. We test drove a G35 sedan and we loved it. Great pick up, lot of bells and whistles, standard V6, moonroof, lot of fun to drive. The '05-'06 types that I felt would be somewhat in our price range were still running about $20k, did land on an internet special which seems like a really good deal...$16k for an '06 with 35k miles. Most of the cars in that age range that I saw on Autotrader all have north of 60k-80k miles and have asking prices over $20k so I feel like I have a good deal in play.
Curious if any of you all have ever owned one and if you liked them or had problems
