Spent last week in Spanish Wells, Bahamas (one of the "out islands") and the fishing was outstanding! Went out on a boat and caught enough fish for 3 meals, including BBQ'ing my first ever Triggerfish. but the real fun was the excellent shore fishing I was able to find. I caught some nice Grouper and a couple Mutton Snapper (my favorite eating fish that can be caught from shore). I also paddled a kayak out to a smaller island and caught my first ever sight-casted Bonefish. What a rush!

my thought too at first. You still have to grab the rod and reel in the fish, or at least swing him into the boat. We only had 8 rods, but with the wind blowing and moving in and out of trees/stumps, it gets a bit hairy to manage. I imagine 16 is stressful! It's still fun though, and I guess the main advantage is you can cover more ground (present your bait to more possible fish). Several times we caught two at the same time. He said he's had three on at once before. I think I still prefer one-to-one, but it was a neat twist.
