Xmas has gotten so much better over the last few years

I'm giving some serious consideration to, sometime in the next 3 years, cutting out any celebration or participation in Christmas. I'm not a Christian and the obscene consumerism makes me want to vomit. I have no problem getting together with family to eat, drink etc but unfortunately we can't just have that. It has to be the whole-hog. Anyone here NOT participate in Christmas? Jewishguys.com feel free to chime in as well.

By not participating are you talking just about not doing the family gathering/presents thing or do you mean to go whole hog and refuse to take the day off work as well?

 

I actually used to volunteer to work when I worked retail since I don't celebrate it. Let you people have that day. Just cover me when I want to go to a concert or some other party.
