How does Venmo work?
I collect all the money in my league, and of course, there are several people who still owe.
1) Do they need to sign up for Venmo or would I be the only person who needs to sign up and they are still able to send me money?
2) Is there a simpler option than Venmo. Several people in my league are not very intelligent.
3) How secure are these sites (Venmo or any other)?

Everyone has to sign up. I think there are definitely more secure ways to transfer money.
That said, everyone out here uses it to split bills at dinner, to toss a few dollars to the host of a party, etc. Never had a problem, always quite easy. Pretty useful, IMO.

Love it. My friends and I all have it and use it all the time.
Makes eating out, splitting bar tabs, settling/placing bets, buying drugs, and planning events are super easy (buying tickets, splitting hotel, gas, splitting PPV etc).
Between Venmo and my credit cards, the cash I carry in my wallet lasts forever. I always withdraw a $100 keep it in my wallet. Before that $100 would last maybe a 1 month. Now that $100 lasts several months.
