2025 NCAA Quarters 2nd Draft (1 Viewer)

I don't know a single thing about any of the teams I've selected so far. Gun to my head, I couldn't name a single player. The best I could do is name Calipari as coach of Arkansas (I think).

I'm picking teams based purely on color scheme. I'm building a rainbow. It's beautiful.

My highest seed is a 7 so man I could be ringing up some real bills here.
I didn't realize we are at that point in the program where we start bad-mouthing our teams.
Anyway, Battersbox won the most money last year and it was pretty much one team - NC State - that did it for him
You could be bringing home some big bills, benjamins, jacksons
To be clear I’d hate my team no matter who I drafted as I’ve watched 12 total minutes of college basketball this year. That will change Thursday!

I’m on the west coast and don’t want to hold things up in the morning since it’s close to my pick in case we are done for the night. Can I send a list to someone?

I have 2 picks in the next 5, I probably won't be around til 1pm eastern so sent a list of 5 to several folks. I don't want to be thatguy :ROFLMAO:

Almost picked yale bc I didn’t see them on the sheet and then realized they went 1.01 :lmao: :lmao:

Not laughing at the pick just my incompetence for thinking they were still there. I think they scare TAMU to death.

If for whatever reason this doesnt finish, I'll probably use the dice machine to randomly assign whatever 15/16 seeds are left. Unless there's a better way to do it.

I feel like we'll get through this though.

I'm going local here.

The American/MSM winner. American is where Gary Williams first made his name and is now coached by one of his former star players at MD, Duane Simpkins. He was the PG on those mid-90s teams with Joe Smith & Keith Booth. The Mount (no one around here calls it by its full name) is in Emmitsburg, MD.

Our other choice is Omaha, just because it's used in the song "Convoy".

Here's what analytics say the final payouts will be. This is based on expected number of wins by team. Dont ask me to explain this further. I think it's mostly correct.

Penguin -$12.79
Capella -$3.67
Scoresman $37.93
Battersbox $6.13
SteelerFan03 $7.09
Dwayne Hoover -$19.35
kupcho1 $6.93
Uruk Hai/msudaisy26 -$22.29

:bowtie: Yes, I used analytics a bit in drafting.

My strategy was to not get too heavy into the double digit seeds. I know you need some to really win big, but this year the separation between the top 4 seeds and the field is the largest its been. So a lot of analysts are predicting less first round upsets. People blame NIL for talent being front loaded on the best teams.

7-10 seeds are also historically good, analytically.
