I am getting on soon.  The teen was #####ing about nothing to watch on NF, so I was trying to put some movies in his list.  

 
Tech question for you, Big League.  Been playing on my TV on 4K and Apex has always been sort of blurry. That's why I'm always saying I can't see the enemy. Figured it was just part of the game until you said yours was clear tonight.  Went into the Xbox settings and changed it from 4K 60hz to 1080 120hz and changed color fidelity from 24 bit to 36 bit and it looks like an entirely different game. Completely clear. About fell out of my chair looking at it. But my TV itself is 4k.  What's up with that? I've been playing every game in a blur.

Not sure I have the non-4K Xbox  so I know a key to gaming is the better refresh rate   I’d take the 120hz over 60 all day unless it’s a differnt type of hz for 4K

Digital Foundry has confirmed that the game, no matter the system, is incapable of running at native 4K.

 
Tell you how bad the new account players are. Played one game today with Pathfinder. Both teammates quit in the middle. Got the win and 4 kills. 

 
I do wish there was a tad more balance with the sniping game.  Usually when my teammates peace out I look for a sniper and stick to the edges and I do like it in theory.  

Last night I played my first ever Octane game after unlocking him when you guys left.  My teammates charged toward a tunnel and died.  2 other squads around.  I had a sentinel and did about 1300 damage, a couple kills and a few knockdowns picking off from a bridge(by type small settlement between Mirage and Harvester).  Just seems like there are very few games where that comes into being part of the game play.   95% of games are running in and charging, and if you fire a sniper once, all that you are doing is giving up position.  

Probably would be overpowered, but would be fun to have a character who's ability was to "slow time" as you look through a scope to pick off someone moving or, a couple silent shots, something like that.  

 
Played a few with Octane the last couple nights.  I am sure stats will come down but in 4 games I have 9 kills and 2800 damage.  Not sure why. 

 
Snagged a win with Octane last night after you guys logged off.   Somehow the last team got caught on the rocks down below a platform in the Thermal Station area and it was easy to pick them off and throw grenades down on them.  

 
Some of these videos are nuts and brought up stuff I never thought about - one was "shield hording" in a late stage building.  Basically have a couple extra there so you just run and swap instead of having to use a shield cell.    They also suggested using Wattson/Caustic/Wraith in ranked.  In theory can hold buildings and then use Wraith to portal to the next one or portal to a better rotation as the ring closes.

That’s what the McDonald’s dude was doing. Stacking a bunch of shields in our final building

The people that play on this game.  Just got grappled + shot by devotion by a player at the same time for a kill.  3500 kills for their character.
