Good games last night.  I gotta say Mirage feels pretty OP right now.  I would try to use him as much as I could until they nerf him.

 
Looking like it might be the controller.  :wall:   Besides the audio issues, the kid said I am for sure not making up the left stick complaints - he said he was having trouble sprinting and staying sprinting as well.  

So, basically my luck with controllers is on par with my luck with instantly running into people on drops in the game.  

 
Well, it's for sure at least a little of both.  Son tried the headset on the PS4 just now and said his friends couldn't hear him, but he could hear them.  I think it's more the headset, less the controller, but that left stick has been driving me crazy for a little bit.

Gonna have to invest in a legit Elite 2 controller and Steel series Arctis headset eventually. 

 
I'm a stickler for getting high quality stuff on a budget. Always looking at reviews for best product on a budget in a variety of areas. I'm always patient until I find the right thing.

You're an extremely solid player. Shredded me in the firing range. I really have to work on my movement while shooting. Hitting all my shots is no longer good enough when I'm a statue. I think I'm really settling into that G7 with a 3x along with a short range weapon.  

I really think the optimal team now is Loba, Wraith, and Mirage.  We were killing it with those three.

I hear you. The headphones I got seemed highly rated on Amazon too.  This controller is the normal $60 xbox controller, not one of the cheap plug in ones I was rocking.  Dunno. 

Part of the problem with the headphones are the kid was using them too.

What you mean is gforce, Ryo, and sheik.  ;)

What is the secret with Mirage now? I played a couple games with him and it felt a little goofy to be jumping around while controlling his mirage

Trick is throwing out that decoy on a regular basis and hitting down on the D pad so it mimics your movements. Then throwing your Ult out in the middle of every battle to throw off the other team. So confusing fighting against one when they do it.  Can also throw it when you're almost dead if you need to so you can pop a battery or heal. 

Hey, I think we only played 2 together last night and were one guy away from getting a win, as well.

I will try him more tonight if I log on.  Just seemed like even when I controlled him he just ended up running into a wall.  For sure probably need to drop the ult more.  

No, we didn't have bad games.  Mostly joking, but know I am consistently the worst of the dads.  

 
I would be much more willing to get an elite controller if:

A.  The kid was on xbox and used it too. 

B.  I was convinced it would help my game play a bit.

Not sure what to do about the headset thing.  I think might be back to what we did with the ps4 controllers - we have our own pair, so there is no question of who is on the hook to replace.  

This will be headset #3 we have gone through.

The combination of the elite controller and the monitor is what changed it all for me. I'm still the 3rd wheel between Ryo and sheik, but it allows me to contribute some.  Took me a couple months to get all of my settings where I wanted them on the controller.

In our 2 wins last night, we would've never won without Ryo using his Mirage ult in the end and likely wouldn't have won without Sheik using the Wraith portal. We were in multiple battles in both games and got through them. 

 
Are you guys getting enough use out of Loba's black market thingy? 

Seems like most of the time I am just grabbing a stock or something.

That’s about 50% of my games but the other half I come out of the first area with multiple kills.

I can sometimes do that on one of the secondary accounts - maybe about 30% of the time?  Not good enough for that when running into people with 1000s of kills on the main account though.  Then it's just a night of constantly dying within a couple minutes and that's not much fun.

I dunno what you're talking about.  It's a GForce world and we are all just living in it.
