So the second half of the story about Saturday is my drunk ### : 1.  had to stay up until 3am because I forgot to do my laundry for work, and 2.  evidently deleted my other side accounts and created yet another one to practice more with that sub Lvl 20 competition.

Still haven't seen updates on the weapons besides the new gun that will be coming - the 30-30.  

Just read that with the new map, Slum Lakes and Artillery are no longer.  

Looks like they are adding in gold ammo mags too, with maybe them auto reloading one of the weapons.  

From what I read they are also tweaking characters a little - maybe making Wraith's hitbox bigger, Revenant's smaller and adding more health to Rampart's force field covers.  

 
I am on just about every night.  Play a few with Flappy, then grind on my other new account.  :bag:

seeing if I caif have a +1 k/d through Level 20.  :oldunsure: .  I am on level 13 now.

I will probably switch to that when season 8 fires up since I stupidly (drunkenly) added an Xbox gift card on the wrong account that night, so I will do battle pass on new one.  :lol:

 
Embarrassing to admit is that my 2 best games of the last couple days both ended up with me dying in the ring because I wasn't quite watching close enough.  Even more embarrassing to admit is that one of the losses I am pretty sure was against a person that had disconnected :lmao:  .   Firing on someone who wasn't moving as we went in and the ring just clipped me.

Brutal.  Logged on to my level 18 dummy account, and played 2 games - every player i see is level 250+ with stud badges.  I think its a movie night instead.  

 
Looks like the Supply Drop guns stay the same, so Flappy   

HERE are the rest of the patch notes.  

Doesn't look like huge changes.  Footsteps with Mirage's mirages, Wraith a little bigger, etc.  

-1 damage for Volt, +1 damage for Spitfire and Alternator, etc..  

I think the biggest change is that Gold Mags.   I don't know if I take it as if you have a Legendary mag, both your guns reload when you are stowing them, or just the one that has the Legendary mag.   The kid said that people are already talking about running dual Devotions because of the legendary mags.  

I think because of Fuse's ring of fire, you will see teams with him + Caustic/Bangalore/Gibby.   It will be brutal having a ring of fire + having Caustic gas or bombs dropping in the middle.  

To counter, I am guessing having Octane or Horizon would be key to launch out of that situation.  

 
The kid is doing her schoolwork so I am being a :nerd:  and watching the developer's video about the changes.   

Seems like their intent was to have Fuse also work long distance and as a way to hold back teams a little - ie giving him more grenades and giving him the ability to shoot them farther with his mechanical arm.   Also their intent was to open King's Canyon up more to have it like Olympus and in theory have less choke points for getting 3rd partied.   I think the new map looks cool, but we will see tomorrow....

 
Lastly, I know we ##### about it a lot, but I don't get their match making at all - unless you just hit a complete wall about level 18 or something.    I was at 17, and never really saw anything more than LV 40 or so.  Doing well with that big game and had a 2.1 K/d.  Hit Lvl 18 and between last night and today for a few saw nothing but 300+ with lots of 2K damage badges, and those 4-5 kills in 30sec badges (or whatever they are), etc..  and get absolutely rolled.   Maybe got one assisst in 6 games, so it's down to 1.7 or so.  Not that big of a deal, I was just trying for 100+ kills before level 20, I just wish there was a medium ground in between there.  

Now, I was talking to the kid the other day, and I didn't get 100% of what he was saying, but the general idea made sense about their match making.  He claimed he was reading something that said their system is a bit more about trying to draw you into the game more and mixing it up - less to do with actual fair matches and more about throttling it so you don't win too much, but just enough so that you keep playing.  I guess that makes sense for a free game to be designed to string you along just enough to keep playing and maybe buying stuff, but I just know personally I am far less likely to keep playing on a night if I am constantly surrounded by way better people so to me that doesn't make a ton of sense.  :shrug:  

 
Yep. Idiots are running this game, just like I thought. I'd play it a lot more if the matchmaking wasn't garbage and they wouldn't try to make the good parts of the game worse instead of the worse parts better. Morons

 
I mean, I get the game isn't designed for my old ###, but I find it very hard to believe that you wouldn't get more people on the game if it was a clearly defined match making system.  More accurately the gamer bros that spend more money probably get crabby if their kd drops below 5, so they need to match up donks like me with them.  

I might try more ranked this season to see if that evens things out a little.   Need to get to level 20 first, so I am going to suck it up and just play tonight even with getting destroyed.  My poor k/d!! ;)

Got a win with the new guy already, but his ultimate is pretty lame and I don't use grenades hardly at all so that's not useful either.

My son was claiming he was too strong - I think he said in the practice range the fire from the circle caused 60-80 damage?  How powerful is his cluster bomb thingy?

 
I like the new additions to the map and the new character and gun.  Pretty dud night though, and didn't have much luck with kills and wins.

Yeah, I wasn't able to use the Ult well last night in the 4-5 games I played with him.   I think GForce said he got hit with one and it took him down a bit.  

What I liked best was the cluster bomb, that this is irritating, and a great way to do damage in a room before heading in, or a way to get a kill or stop other teams from reviving.   I play more of a distance game so his cluster bomb + ability to launch throwables +the 30-30 was something I was really liking last night .  It plays into the way that I would prefer to go about business in this game.  

 
Long story short, I am sure it does have damage, but I was using it more as a very good deterrent to block off places or to use that+ raining down throwibles and his cluster bomb.
