A lot of tech companies are given a pass on their "less than ideal" business practices. Good candidates for wealth inequality as well. Huge profit margins being spread out over a relatively small number of people.
It's easy when the grey area is so big. Nobody is overtly cheating or obviously in the wrong.
The brunt of criticism seems to fall on banking, healthcare, and energy. Industries with generally smaller profit margins, more local employees, and higher effective tax rates.
I'm disappointed that there was no movement on revamping the tax code under Obama. It's one big thing the leaders of both parties wanted to take a shot at. Definitely not easy though.
