I watched the two hour premier last night and I like it. It has a nice vibe to it. The super hot 60's girls really help as well.

I have read a little about Manson in the past and I was surprised they jumped right into his man on man sex so fast. I am a little surprised they brought it up at all.

Duchovny is solid as he usually is. I will stick with it. I believe NBC also has the whole season up if you dont want to wait a week to see each new episode.

I've watched the first three episodes. I like it mainly for the era and the whole Manson culture, which I've always been fascinated with. Music is great, too, but I've noticed that several songs that came out after 1967, which is a pet peeve of mine. <_<

Not sure about the characters yet - the guy playing Manson is terrific, but Duchovny appears a bit meh so far.

Overall, the premise is good, so I'm going to keep watching it.

To be fair, some songs were from the end of 1967, so they could have barely been OK timewise. But still sloppy research - no shortage of pre-1967 songs to keep it real.

Thought the premiere was OK. Nothing great but not bad. My biggest complaint was they tried to cram a lot of different storylines into the first two hours. It felt crammed.

But I'm a big Duchovny fan so I'll continue to watch and see how it goes.

I also find the girls to be a bit too made up and not smelly/dirty like you would think living on a commune. But it's just enterainment.

I thought the two-hour premiere was good although I agree it seemed like they crammed a lot of stuff into it. I do like the fact that all the episodes are available On Demand, I applaud NBC for trying something different. I did hear the initial ratings were not great but I'm pretty sure it was only designed as a one season show so no fear of them cancelling it.
