this pretty much covers it. He and Ronald Curry are pretty similar when it comes to propensity for injury. FWIW I'd take Curry and his better athleticism over Battle.

Battle's knee has been a problem for over a year now. He produced pretty well last year when healthy.

He broke his hand vs the lions and finished the game. He had two screws inserted into his hand (i believe) and didn't miss a game...

Yea, I thought about him a bit this offseason with Bryant gone. Lelie is the only comp at the WR spot right now. I expect them to bring in at least one more WR, probably through draft. The real payout of all this I think is going to go to V. Davis.
