As much as people rag on GG, it's true that if this guy shaved his beard and put on a few pounds...he really could walk around almost unnoticeable.

Sure. A hat (Padres or not) and glasses would help too. But GG goes off the rails with the other survivalist nonsense.

So I don't know if this puts anything in perspective.

We had our team meeting last week. We are all on zoom. There is about 15 of us. One guys turn comes up to speak. He says sorry the news was reporting on Petito. He says something, and crickets. Not one person besides me knew this was even going on. Of course I let him dangle like he was crazy for being the only one ..

Guy on FBI Most Wanted List on the run for over 20 years and supposedly showed up at Dodgers game in 2016.  It is rumored he went into hiding with 13 Million Dollars in cash.  Where do you hide 13 Million dollars in cash.  Key to not getting caught is cash.  13 Million is an infinite amount for that individual so if he wants he can stay secluded for his lifetime.  Still where do you store and keep safe 13 Million Dollars.

Wasn't it like page 3 of this thread where you can "get a guy" to escape overseas or whatever? Pretty sure $13 million gets you a guy and then 2 decades later you can go to a baseball game.

I've heard several manhunt experts (former LEOs) on the radio over the last two weeks talking about the Laundrie search. They don't come right out and say this ... but I think a lot of these ex-cops/ex-FBI agents feel somewhat embarrassed than an apparent "doofus", "soft" kind of guy can simply evade them like Brian Laundrie has done.

Anyway, along these lines ... these experts often say they think Laundrie is dead, but the reason for that suspicion is kind of thin. Basically, it boils down to "Brian Laundrie CANNOT possibly be cleverer than us. We're so good, he shouldn't have had a chance in Hades."

Makes me wonder if, on the ground, some of the investigators need to check their biases and draw up a new scheme. Laundrie (and apparently John Ruffo as well) is the one in a thousand who defies the profiles and slips away clean. Own the losses so far, give your ego a pass, and starting changing investigational approaches. For one -- IMHO it's a hammerlock that Laundrie is no longer near North Port (say, within a day's drive).

fwiw, saw an article that said local police had him under surveillance before he disappeared. obviously not 24/7 surveillance, or even maybe 12/3. but it was something.

 
Not sure if anybody is on TikTok, but lots of videos on there showing the parents in the backyard by a garden area and it looks like a hand comes up through the ground to hand the mother a note.   People convinced he's in a bunker below the backyard garden and that's why nobody saw him actually leave the house.  :lmao:

it's a shadow.  Of a hand, that looks like a hand because hands cast shadows that look like hands. hth
