Asomugha effect (1 Viewer)

I know "never bench your studs"....but is Asomugha used only on one side of the field or is he matched up on WR1 every snap? Eagles homers?

Do you just start Roddy White and not worry about it?

Start Roddy with confidence. I think he does just guard one side of the field, but who cares, Roddy is top 3-5 wr in the league and can put up numbers on any team/cb. Not saying he will have 200 yards but 7-8 for 90 and a td isn't out of the picture.

Not sure why people always assume that a really gifted DB has the advantage over an equally gifted WR.

Revis was getting owned before Dez Bryant pulled up lame.

I'd start him. Though sounds like after next week might be the right time to put an offer out on him.

Dez owned Cromartie. Once they put Revis on him all he did was piss and moan and cramp up and tap out.
That's one version of it.Dez has a nice 26 yard catch on Revis and I was really looking forward to the matchup the rest of the game. Then they both suffered cramps with Dez having to get an IV and also had a bruised quad.Anyways, back on topic. I wouldnt bench Roddy White against ANYBODY. Start your stud and hope for the best. I;m going against him this week and hope Philly shuts him down but I think he finds a way to get his.

Nnamdi plays RCB mainly. So Roddy could line up on the other side of the field. However that side is manned by Samuel who is no slouch. I also believe in playing your studs but if you have a great matchup elsewhere, I would consider it.

One of the most physical WRs vs one of the most physical CBs. Its a good matchup but I you likely wont see them matched the whole game. White probably wont have one of his 150 yard performances but he's still a better play than most of your bench options out there.
