Assuming the LJ rumors are true... (1 Viewer)

I'm am an LJ owner and when I saw the injury during the game it didn't look good. Now there are whispers coming out that he may be out for the year. Assuming that's the case which RB's are you targetting for the stretch run. Any backs out there have a nice remaining schedule that may be on the cheap side like a Graham, Grant, ?

Ugh...made a big move for LJ a few weeks ago and it was all coming together. Back to the drawing board.....

I'm at a loss as well. In fact, I just traded Julius Jones and Bowe a week ago, and I could really use Jones (as sad as that is to say)... In my league, there's nothing available at RB so I will have to think of a trade.

Accrdg to the FBG SOS for the rest of the season Grant looks like he might be a good play (with the exception of this weekend vs. Minn) with games against Car (+), Det (++), Dal (-), Oak (+++) (week 14), St Louis (++) (week 15), Det (++) (week 16). I think I answered my own question....

Is Grant the guy in GB the rest of the year?

Musa Smith might be a good grab with WM suffering that concussion and Cincy on the schedule.
My worry is that would be a one-week deal, wouldn't it be?I'm thinking of trying for two of Gado, Pittman, Morency, and Duckett since they *could* be productive with an injury or situation change... I'm not sure how to rank them though, or where Musa would fit.

Looks to be the starter without question until he plays really bad. There's the chance that a really healthy Morency could outperform him, but I think they like him as the 3rd down back anyway.

I pulled the trigger last night.

Decided that RB was too important a position, since I basically don't have a #2 now.

Traded Plaxico straight up for Kevin Jones. Hope the rest of my WR step up (and picked up Chris Henry).

Yes that would be a one week move at best but it is one heck of a M/U. I just grabbed him to keep him from the owner that has WM. I am tied in 1st w this guy but he could b a great play this week when it is critical to get a win.

Ugh... just realized that even he's taken in my league. So for me, it's down to:T.J. DuckettMichael PittmanVernand MorencySamkon GadoPierre ThomasI'm leaning towards Gado and Pittman.

I think Maroney is an interesting gamble if the Maroney owner in your league has to win this week. Take the one-week bye hit and there's a good chance Maroney has a vey nice Nov/Dec w/o Sammy Morris there. Sooner or later, he'll break a few long ones and you gotta think the Pats want to establish something on the ground heading into the playoffs.

I was able to get him for Priest/Boldin.

I'm really trying to sneak in and get Grant on the heels of his concussion but was able to deal Peyton Manning and Santana Moss for Drew Brees and Reggie Bush to satisfy my immediate needs. New Orleans, Green Bay and Kansas City all have great remaining schedules.
