He should go off on Detroit this week. Predictions on Jenkins against a Detroit defense that has given up 14 TD's and 250 rec yrds per game?

I know that Vick spreads the ball around and Crumpler takes a lot of catches away from the ATL WR's, but surely others are looking for a big game from Jenkins this week.

8 catches

150 yards

1 TD

He's having a quietly decent year but this projection seems just a trad optimistic. I'd be very happy with 70 yds and a TD.

What I like about him is he's scored in two straight games. He should've scored in three straight but he dropped a bomb from Vick three games ago.

What I don't like is that he hasn't caught more than 3 passes in any game this season. So he really needs to score to provide any meaningful fantasy value. And if a player is that heavily dependent on touchdowns for his success that makes him real risky in my opinion.

I do like the matchup a lot this week and I think he's a very good pickup against the Lions. But I don't know how high I'd project him going forward given the issues above.

He's the best WR on the team. Vick just seems to look at Crumpler more often. If Vick continues to progress as he has, Jenkins could really break out next year.

Been hearing that for 2 years. I thought Jenkins was a sneaky sleeper this season. And he may yet to prove that over the second half of the year if Vick does stay on this roll. Vick has really looked better then he ever has mixing the run and pass. I would consider starting him on teams that start 3 WR's based on a match-up like this. But he does not catch enough balls to matter in PPR unless he scores.
